Another Football Manager 2018 tactic inspired by Pep Guardiola which takes the isometric formation and goes a little bit crazy with it.
Using this formation I managed to win the Premier League and the Champions league in the first season. Currently three quarters of the way through the second season and the dream double is still on again, having already won the World Club Championship along the way.
You can expect on average 60% possession in most games. Obviously against the top sides it will be slightly lower, but you need to fear no team.
This tactic isn't designed to cheat by glitching the match engine with three forwards as you will see in many others. This tactic works simply by playing quality football in key areas of the pitch and maintaining possession throughout.
Formation

Overloads will be created by the wingbacks on both sides, the half back will stop you getting outnumbered should opponents try to counter attack, remember the first rule of defence is delay delay delay.
Team instructions

Very simple, keep the ball when we have it, work the space to recover the ball when in transition.
Statistics

As you can see you can expect high levels of possession. These will transition into chances created and hopefully plenty of shots on target.
Final League Table
As you can see, this tactic works. A small squad of around 20 players was used throughout the season and rotated to give experience and game time to all. Don't be afraid to rotate against the teams you expect to beat. The players will deliver.
A number of players have individual instructions, these are best seen when you download the tactic.

With regards to transfers , i got rid of the vast majority of the first team squad in the first season and brought in players with what i considered the right attributes for the position i wanted them to play.

If any of your players are breaking up play with bad passing obviously slide them to less risky if its not hard wired
