The official data update patch arrived also on Mar 1st last year and the year before that.
Released: 1 March 2019
The Football Manager Winter Transfer Update for FM 2019 is now available for download via Steam.
The updated database aims to reflect all the latest transfer changes, updated attributes and also includes various fixes and improvements (see changelist below).
As always the update is save game compatible, but remember that in order to use the new database you’ll need to start a new save game.
This means that upon starting a new game, the latest database will be available with updated squads, managers and everything else which happened before the January window closed.
You will need to close down Football Manager 2019 and re-launch for it to update. If this does not work for you or you feel it has not updated, you will need to restart Steam.
Even if that doesn't do the trick, then verify the game cache will.

We've released a minor update, 19.3.2, to address a crash affecting users on certain specific setups when launching the game and a problem related to RCA's with the Editor.
The game and Editor should automatically begin to update next time you launch Steam. For those of you currently in game or the Editor, save and exit to receive the update. If for whatever reason either doesn't automatically update we recommend restarting Steam.
I think the pre game editor only works for individual players, not all transfers as a whole?

Just to let you know we've just released the 19.3.1 Minor Update to address a crash affecting users running the game using Intel graphics cards.

I start a new save after the winter transfer window. Wondering if there is any ways I can set the new winter transfers to only play for the new club since the actual transfer dates, just so that it sounds more real?
For example, my career starts from 4/2/19 as Arsenal manager; Denis Suarez joined Arsenal on 31/1/19, however he has played for 20+ games for Arsenal so far in the 18/19 season whereas never played for Barcelona before the transfer happened; So is Pulisic and Higuain etc.
Is there any ways I can have Denis Suarez playing for 20+ games for Barcelona and 1 game after joining Arsenal during the 18/19 season?
Any comments would be much appreciated!!
