FM26 Moneyball Scout Tool is a free, browser-based scouting and decision tool for Football Manager 2026 built on the Moneyball principle – maximum output per invested euro.

HOW IT WORKS

Load a CSV exported with the FM26PlayerExport Plugin into the tool. No login, no installation, no server. Everything runs locally in your browser.

FEATURES

Overall Value Score (OVS) – 7-component scoring system: Performance, Cost Efficiency, Age Curve, Reliability, Market Opportunity, Upside and Risk. Every component is individually explained on click.

Decision Box – the core feature. On every player page: Buy Recommendation, fair value and max. price to pay, reasons for and against buying, and a final verdict sentence. Know within 15 seconds whether to sign a player.

Moneyball Value Score (MVS) – measures pure price-performance. Quality x Reliability x Upside divided by Cost + Risk. A player with OVS 78 and MVS 91 is often a better deal than one with OVS 92 and MVS 54.

Executive Summary – appears immediately after CSV import without any filters. Shows best transfer, biggest bargain, most overvalued player, top 5 to scout, top 5 to avoid.

Scout Report – professionally written analysis with strengths, risks, price assessment and clear recommendation including concrete price limits.

Percentile Bars – every stat displayed as a bar with percentile rank. Top 6% xG is instantly more meaningful than a raw number.

Steal Alert – automatic detection when market value massively underestimates statistical output.

Bust Detection – red warning when high costs meet weak performance.

54 FM26 roles in dropdown with role-specific score weighting.

League Strength factor (0.70–1.00) to adjust for different competition levels.
