FM26 Game Setup: All Playable Leagues

Adding all the playable nations from the lowest possible league available is a tedious process that can take a few minutes and dozens of clicks.

That translates to a whopping 131 leagues from 58 nations for men and 14 leagues from 11 nations for women! A total of 145 leagues from 58 nations if you load both men's and women's leagues.

You can avoid all that by downloading this bundle of game setup files, placing them into your "db setups" folder, and loading the one you want on the relevant screen in-game.

The Truth about Men's and Women's Leagues

I see a lot of comments from people not happy with the fact that their saves have women's leagues and players loaded despite not selecting them.

This is because the way game setup works is confusing and somewhat problematic. Bear with me, I'll explain.

Say you select all the leagues you want under the Men's Leagues tab but completely ignore / skip the Women's Leagues tab. If the nations you added in the Men's Leagues tab are also playable for women, they will be automatically added to the Women's Leagues tab.

What's really odd is that female players from ALL leagues will be loaded too for the Database Size you select. It doesn't matter if you have just 1 nation or 11. The only way to not load any women's leagues and players is to specifically set each of those nations to None in the Women's Leagues tab.

This doesn't exactly apply vice versa, as the player count will be affected immediately with every nation you remove from the Men's Leagues.
