How to install this data update to FM 2026
- Open the file you downloaded with .rar or winzip.
- Select all .fmf files and copy-paste/extract/drag & drop them into the editor data folder, to the following location:
Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2026 / editor data
Create the "editor data" folder if it doesn't exist. - Open the game, "Start New Career", on the top right click the "Football Manager 26" box and select all my files. You are now ready to create a new game with all the latest transfers & things that have been missed from the official latest patch
In case you have more editor data files:
When setting up a new game, do not have any other data update files ticked on your Editor Data Files screen except this one.
Choose only my files if you are not sure about the changes in every file. Many files together from different creators can cause crashes to the game, duplicates and other problems. Avoid using files from different creators.

@Lpereira, how come a player from Porto is missing from the database?!?
Either way, when you select the files you want, don't just start the new game and move forward. Test things so you won't have duplicate people and things like that.
@thanosdimas, no, sadly I am not a fan of local leagues. You can always add the team you want in the playable G Ethniki in place of another team. You can search in youtube how, it's very simple. Local divisions make no sense with all greyed players.
@nikolaosaek, I will check every file to see how and if it works until the first release, that's a guarantee.
@ermanu_betico, have you used any file with the latest official winters patch?
Files from my latest release SHOULD NOT be applied with the latest patch, especially if you are not that familiar with the pre game editor.
Will there be a patch for local Greek versions too?

Great work as always on the updates. Just a question, do you have any plans to update the Ajax staff in the next update? There have been quite a lot of changes the last couple of weeks.
