Football Manager 2024 Logo Packs - Footbe Logos 2024-25
I created the first logos of this pack for the footbe project, which is a football predictions service that Eugene (GS author) initiated 11 years ago. I wanted to make them available for Football Manager since then, but I kept postponing until I had more logos made.

The concept behind them is 3-fold:
  • use the same shape for all
  • simplify the original version
  • keep it recognizable when small
We wanted uniform logos that would look great inside our app. FM is an app, so that pretty much applies to it as well.

After a LOT of requests from fmscout members who had seen my work there, the time has finally come to release my logopack for everyone to enjoy.

Released: 19 June 2015 - v1.0
Updated: 13 October 2024 - v4.0

To-Do

The ultimate goal remains the same, and that is to complete all playable leagues one day.
Feel free to post in the comment section to request a club or a league that you'd like to see added to the pack.
Playable clubs are naturally prioritized.

How to add footbe logos on Football Manager 2024

  1. Download the .zip archive and use a tool such as 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for MacOSX to extract its contents.

  2. Move the extracted contents to your graphics folder:
    \Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\graphics\logos\
Create folders "graphics" and "logos" if they don't exist already.
If you're installing an updated version, simply overwrite everything.

  3. Run Football Manager 2024 and go to Preferences > Interface:
    Hit the [Clear Cache] button
Enable Reload Skin when confirming changes in preferences
Hit the [Confirm] button (if this doesn't work, change skin to force it, then change skin back)

FAQ

Can I request new logos?
Sure. Post a comment below with your requests, but please understand it might take a while until I release a new version.

What if I don't like a logo?
Feel free to express your opinion about my work. I'll try to use your feedback to improve my logos.

Is there a template I can use to make my own logos in this style?
Actually there isn't. I create all logos from scratch. There's just a white shape I begin with.

I want to help make more logos for this pack.
Thanks, but no thanks. This is a pack I don't want any help with. You can give it a shot if you insist, but it's highly unlikely I'll accept your creations for inclusion in my pack.

This pack is small. When will you make a megapack with thousands of logos?
I'll keep making new logos and releasing new versions from time to time, but don't expect to see thousands of logos here. It's not easy to create the logos in this style, which makes the process rather slow.

@Stam Great work on the logos. I was wondering if these logos are copyright free to use for anything else besides FM20 such as making a game. I thought these would be a great alternative for FIFA ones.

Hi! I'm a long time Málaga-supporter and would love to if you could add Segunda División (second tier in Spain) to your to-do leagues. At least do logos for the classic teams in there like Real Zaragoza, Deportivo La Coruña, Sporting Gijón, Racing Santander, Málaga CF, Real Oviedo, UD Las Palmas, Elche CF, Rayo Vallecano, CD Tenerife and Cádiz.

This logo package doesn't work on my Mac (El Capitan 10.11.6), but works perfectly fine on my Windows 10 desktop pc. Anyone else having trouble installing this on Mac?

Quick status update: I've been working on at least 7 new leagues and the plan is to release a new version including all that before Xmas.

have you plans to create La Liga Smartbank and third divisons in Spain? I love your Logos but it´s difficult for Spain i play with Almeria ;)

I have a little problem with this logo pack. At starters, I play with chelsea, if i dont reload skin, i have the real logos for the bundesliga, but not for the premier league and if i reload skins, i have the logos for premier league but not for the bundesliga. Where do I go wrong? I have tried to start a new games, but it does'nt work.

    @Stam

If you could add a download option not to include logos for already licensed clubs that would be brilliant. Thank you so much!
  • silentjay's avatar
@stam I get what you mean, I imagine it's a lot of work.
Perhaps bringing in someone from the community to help you with this great collection might help matters?
I'm just suggesting it because imo this truly is the best logopack for the game with its style and creativity, and I'd truly like it to be as massive as some of the other logopacks out there -but they have a bunch of people working on them.

    Cheers!

    Incredible work as always. Congratulations!

I would like to make a wish: can you make the South American leagues? In addition to CSA, Fortaleza and Brazil's B and C Series?
  • SlobaFMB's avatar
Logo of TSC (Serbia) is missed from logopack. Well done for great work, Stam!

@Tetsuro: I realize everyone's entitled to an opinion. This style wasn't made to please everyone in the first place. There's an appropriate context and etiquette for criticism. If you actually have a suggestion on how to improve certain logos, I'll consider it. However, I'm not interested in negativity at all. I prefer my versions over the originals, and as long as I enjoy doing logos in this style, I'll keep going.
  • Tetsuro P12's avatar
Stam, unfortunately I have to say that logos are getting worse. They are going from nice to mediocre. Like Herrera I don't see the purpose to provide logos when they are worse than the originals. I think that he was just honest. Initially it has been a nice project, but now looks like it's missing the target. If the problem is copyright this isn't definitely the right way to tackle it. Anyway congratulations for past achievements, I did enjoyed it some time ago.
  • RandydeB's avatar
@herrera, you don't have to update to the new version! you can re-use the old version for fm20 and update the logo's you like from the updates. Quite a lot of time and effort has gone into the logo's to try and keep them recognizable, while at the same time not having to worry about more and more copyright issues coming this way
  • Justice's avatar
@Herrera, there's a right and a wrong way to say you don't like something.

"this project is death" - not the right way to say you don't like it. Fair enough you have your own personal opinion, but you shouldn't be rude about the work Stam has put in. He's worked hard to make the best out of a difficult situation and his work has had tremendous success.

Oh well, I hope you enjoy your newfound 'meme' status.
  • Stam's avatar
@Herrera: I disagree. New versions are better than the originals in my opinion and that is all that matters to me. The reason behind remaking certain logos is obviously copyright. If you can't appreciate the effort, don't use it and keep the "shitty" opinion to yourself.

@silentjay: The plan is to expand this pack to cover all playable clubs in the original database. I expect that might take me up to 6 months though. It's unrealistic to match the amount of logos that packs containing official badges have. Merely collecting images is much faster than designing something.

    @daherlihy

I don't mean the quality of the logos, i mean the logos in general and the "recognise" effect of them. I mean the old version of cologne or werder bremen for example looked superb. Everybody noted, it would be that team. The new one of both of them simply look like a chinese arcade game. The new one of werder bremen has nothing in it except the colous. And that was only one example. I nearky for the entire pack.... I don't understand why you are ruining a bit your good work
  • 4Ramos's avatar
Can you please do LaLiga Smartbank and perhaps the Leagues below in Spain too? I love your Logos but in Spain it´s difficult when you playing not with a first divison team :/
  • silentjay's avatar
This is by far the most creative pack out there, and I enjoy it thoroughly.
I undertsand it's not easy to create interpretations of logos out there, so I've no problem on how you present them.
I think if you could expand to cover more leagues, specially South America (including Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana) it would help a ton. I can see it easily surpassing TCM, Metallic, or Standard once it can gain that same level of logos and flags.
And if I may recommend something: BE BOLD. It's paying off! I get the safe moves, but the art behind your designs is what really make this pack unique.
  • daherlihy's avatar
@Herrera - "the new ones, the safer ones, simply look shit. I mean, i can't even recognise clubs."

Consider the following mate (I've designed some logos for this pack so I know what I'm talking about):
    1. Not all clubs will have high resolution logos available on the internet to work from, hence why some logos in this pack might look plain or safe. The important thing is to ensure that the logo at least contains the colours and style of the club logo or jersey at the very least.

    2. Even if all the logos in the pack are not plain or safe and are of the highest quality and contain something specific or notable unique to each club, the fact of the matter remains that you still won't recognize all of the associated clubs anyways as they are not all high reputation clubs.
  • Herrera's avatar
The idea behind the pack was good. But the new ones, the safer ones, simply look shit. I mean, i can't even recognise clubs. So for me, this project is death and i will go backwards to the normal logos...
