Ok guys!!! I tried to create my first tactic from scratch. I'm admittedly lazy when it comes to this and I usually download a tried and tested one from online. But I thought i'd give it a go, and as you can see from the screenshots, it's going pretty well!!! I have tried it with 2 different teams of different abilities, Utd, and my beloved Watford. It has worked well with both.

I am all about excitement and goals and so I wanted to create a high pressing, high intensity formation, where the basis is on winning the ball back as high up the pitch as possible. The result is A LOT OF GOALS!!! 99 percent of the time this formation works a treat. Of course, on the odd occasion, it backfires a bit, as with all formations. For experimental purposes, when I do see that the tactic isn't working, I HAVEN'T changed things within the game, apart from going to an attacking mentality to try and get a goal back (or 5).
I thought I would concede a shed load, and yes I concede the odd goal or 2, but tbh, when I am averaging 4 a game, I don't worry about the odd goal.
The only thing that isn't mine that I am using, is the corner tactic. It doesn't work too great and I am looking to tweak that over the coming days, so my corners are a threat. If anyone has suggestions, that would be awesome!
Please give it a go! It would be interesting to see if this works with all levels of teams. In terms of players, obviously high tempo is the key, so quick players who can run all day are pretty useful, but tbh it hasn't mattered as much as I thought it would.
When I buy players, I never really go for the 'best' players. I'm always interested in developing young players, especially brits, and so I'm sure you can see my Watford squad isn't the best you will see. I have 60 million in the bank still! I think this is further proof that the tactic is a good one, and works well!!!
Feedback is greatly appreciated.
