Spider // High Scoring FM20 Tactic

The Spider tactic is one of the most effective tactics in Football Manager 2020 in terms of the number of goals scored. In a tactic testing league it's in the first place with 2.63; it is also first in terms of scoring in away games with 2.03 per match.



This system will give your team good attacking potential, but the drawback is the vulnerability in defense due to moving a large number of players in attack.

This influenced the overall rating as a whole, and for that you will need top quality midfielders (CA 160+) since they have to cope with long distances and against several opponents at the same time, as well as be able to supply wingers with through balls. Therefore, they must have high passing & vision not lower than 15.

For a similar reason, you will need great central defenders (CA 155+) to pull through with their duties without problems. Defenders with high speed, acceleration, marking, and positioning not lower than 13.

Having such players makes it possible to possibly win all the matches of the season.
