FM 2024 Fantasy Scenarios - The Netherlands: The return of the disappeared clubs
Football clubs may come and go. In Dutch football there have been multiple occasions where clubs disappeared, mostly for financial reasons.
One of these clubs was FC Wageningen. When I was eight years old, I went to the stadium for the first time, with my father and my older brother. I think I remember every minute of that match. In 1992, FC Wageningen went bankrupt. What's left of FC Wageningen is a ghost stadium and memories.

In this scenario database, I have brought back 14 clubs into the first four tiers of Dutch football. Besides FC Wageningen, there is Veendam, FC Amsterdam, SC Amersfoort, RBC, SVV Schiedam, AGOVV, VC Vlissingen, HFC Haarlem, Xerxes, Archilles '29, FC Vlaardingen, FC Hilversum and SC Drente.
I put the clubs in different leagues. But after running a test they all were at the bottom of their league. So there is some work to do if you take over one of these clubs.

    Oh, that's strange.
Well, in the main folder, after unzipping. There is a fmf file and a folder with logos.
Only the fmf file should be in the editor folder
and the logos folder, should be in the graphics folder.
    Hope that works?

    Hi Luther,

I can't seem to get the mod to work. I unzipped it and put the folder in the editor data. Did i miss out on something?

Yes. This is true for most a lot of clubs in the 'disappeared clubs' database. In the Netherlands amateur and prof is strictly divided, also on club-level. This prevents that if the prof-branch is bankrupt, the whole club disappears. This happened recently with the Belgian club Deinze. The whole thing fell, even the youth-teams.

Thanks! I must say that even though FC Wageningen isn't already among us, its amateur branch still exists as WVV Wageningen.
