Depending on the division, you’ll be required to field a minimum number of U19 or U21 players in your starting XI, encouraging the use of homegrown talent.

3. Salary Caps by Division
Each division comes with its own salary cap, making squad building and financial planning more strategic than ever.

No more financial inequality within the same league – every team receives the same prize money, rewarding performance over market power.

At the heart of this save is a rivalry loosely inspired by real events: the high-profile tensions within the Del Vecchio family, heirs to the Luxottica empire – the global eyewear giant behind brands like Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Persol. Internal power struggles and legal battles have filled headlines, and now, they fuel a football war in FM24.

Two fictional clubs are born from this feud, both vying to reach and conquer Serie A… but only one can win.

Livorno vs Chinotto – Two Visions, One Throne

1. Financial Disparity by Design:
- Livorno represents the “player’s club” – a symbol of resilience. They operate on a permanent salary cap of just 25% of the league standard, regardless of promotion.
- Chinotto Neri is the opposite: a financial juggernaut, always enjoying the highest salary cap in the division. Designed to be a powerhouse, they may eventually dominate world football.

2. Club Starting Conditions:
- Livorno begins with low reputation and basic facilities, much like they had in Serie D.
- Chinotto boasts maximum reputation and elite infrastructure from day one.

3. Livorno’s Hidden Edge:
- To balance the odds, Livorno has a global scouting and development network: five affiliate clubs worldwide, offering loan pathways, scouting intel, and first-refusal rights.
