[FM 24.3.0] A New World Order

Introduction

In this alternate universe, May 27th is the most important turning point in the game's history. World Football made a sensational entrance onto the world stage by winning its case against the monopoly of the main football federations.

Their purpose ? Broaden football out of the dozen of European-only Superclubs so every continent has a chance to have its football dynasty.

Their proposal ? The "Franchise Football", a new wealthy and redistributing system composed of hundreds of brand new powerful franchises located in the biggest cities around the globe.
Clubs from the old-system (also called "Club Football") still compete in completely devaluated tournaments though. They are now doomed to become formation centers for almighty institutions. This gap will certainly never fill back.

Dystopia or utopia ? At least, football finally really tends to become what it has claimed for decades: The World's Game

The world is now divided in 16 zones and 4 Continents: Africa, Americas, Asia/Oceania and Europe. Zones contains 32 franchises each, splitted in a first and a second division of 16: the First and Challenger Series. Besides first teams, secondary competition systems have been organized concerning Reserve and U21 teams.


Continents have their own cups called "The Masters" with thrilling knockout match-ups.
"The Worlds" is the most prestigious competition in this new football landscape. This yearly cup gathers 32 among the best franchises worldwide to play a hosted tournament in May, at the end of the WF regular season.

Awards have been redesigned so they are more uniformized between competitions, countries and continents.


There is at least one franchise in 157 countries. Each franchise is affiliated with at least 4 clubs from their country. These affiliations never end and allow players to move freely between franchise and affiliated.

How to play

A graphics pack including logos and backgrounds for every teams and every competitions is available for download

Here are some instruction for your career configuration:
- It is recommended to uncheck "Do not add key staff"
- Newly created teams do not have any player. You can check "Add players to playable teams".
- Also, you can select an early start date (2024-06-12)

This database is compatible with two databases included in the download.
- An Other World (Recommended) removes every person in the database. Everyone will be generated by the game. You will find more easily new countries on top of rankings.
- Global Draft removes every existing player contracts. Be the first to sign the free agents you want for your team.

Franchise squads has to be built from scratch allowing new scenarios for each save, great teams and legends you encounter are only part of your story.
However, I recommend simulating the first few years so that AI-controlled teams form properly.
