Here are the results of Milan's tactical emulation of the Invincibles of Van Basten, Gullit and Rijkaard, coached by Sacchi.

The season was played in the RETURN OF THE LEGENDS DATABASE, where I removed from Milan the legends that weren't from the 1988/89 season, while the other teams were left with all the historical legends.

The tactic is based on a gegenpress, Arrigo Sacchi's trademark, which develops in rapid restarts of the ball on the ground, concluded with crosses from the wingers or holes from the attacking midfielder for the forwards. The full explanation is in the full live.
