About The File

This file adds 3 leagues onto the current Swiss football system in FM 17, and corrects non-licensed competition names. This database also allows clubs from Liechtenstein other than Vaduz in the Swiss football leagues to be playable, with a fully working Liechtenstein Cup. The database also adds U21 teams of some Super League teams into the lower leagues, as is the same with the real life system.

The database has been tested alongside multiple files, including Claasen's leagues megapack with no issues. If you do find any compatibility issues, please tell me in the comments.

Recommended Settings

If playing in the 4th/5th tier, it's recommended to select Add players to playable clubs in the nation select menu, as lower-league clubs do not have enough real players to field a team.

Untick Do not add key staff on the nation select screen too, as lower-league clubs may not already have key staff.

It's recommended to play with an advanced database. To do this, on the nation selection screen, click Database in the top-right and select Advanced. Under Nations, click Add and scroll down until you find Switzerland. Tick it, then tick all boxes that appear underneath.

How to Install

1. Download the file.


2. Copy the file across to your Editor Data folder located in Documents > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2017 > Editor Data (if the folder doesn't exist, create it)


3. Load Football Manager and start a new career


4. Click Database in the top-right of the screen, and make sure the file named Switzerland Lower Leagues is ticked


5. Click Advanced Setup and tick Switzlerland in the country selection menu
