The Miracle 1 tactic is suited for most teams but it's highly recommended for mid-table and top-tier teams (by that I mean, a team predicted to finish 19th or 20th in the premier league can be considered a mid-table team compared to other clubs in other divisions.
For lower leagues, good squad depth is an advantage.
You'll need:
- Sweeper Keeper (most GKs in the game are capable of this)
- Two Fullbacks (Wingbacks at elite level are a BONUS).
- Two Central defenders that are comfortable on the ball (in comparison to other defenders in that level or league where you play).
- Two Defensive midfielders capable of tackling and supporting attacks. Players that can play BOX to BOX midfielder will do well in this role.
- 2 Inside Forwards, prefarably you will need two attackers that can play on the wings. (AML/R/ST type players).
- 1 Quick Striker to play as the channel forward is a huge bonus.
Opposition Instructions.
This is subject to personal preference. In football manager 26, I've found opposition instructions can sometimes be helpful, or sometimes affect the effectiveness of a tactic.
For this tactic, I recommend you play without them unless you absolutely know what you're doing and you're sure it won't hurt your teams performance when you use them.
Good Luck

Once you are set, you can diviate from the plan as your team evolve.
I am personally going with 2 AM and 1 DM. And changing wings based on opponent from Inside F to Inverted.
Assigning extra track back to your players can impose a lot of con strain. So keep team with ample supply of reserves for them (im referring to opposing tactics here ofc)
Add "Corner" tactics to your DC and watch it roll to No1 league scorer.
