I don't use any special set pieces etc. If you can add them then feel free.
I delegate everything to my staff like Training, Set Pieces, Take Control of Friendlies, even transfers in/Out (although i choose to finalise any transfer)
Team Talks, Conferences ETC EXCEPT, Picking the team. I choose Quick Pick then adjust 2/3 players as i feel they don't pick the best 11.
IN GAME:
During the game the ONLY thing i alter is the MENTALITY. Positive is the standard Mentality. Depending on how the game is going changing to Attacking may be required. Not all opponents are the same so sometimes dropping to Balanced can have a better effect. Cautious should be used when playing one of the big teams or you want to see the game out. I only have used those 3 mentalities and it is just a matter of which one works best against each opponent.
Never tried it with a big team but i would imagine it would work just as well.
The tactic:

Sunderland:

Scarborough:

Discussion: Underdog Upwards / Relegation Battlers at the Top

I was creating plenty of chances but not scoring enough, so i have altered the formation and build up play to not only create good chances but score more goals.
It is now VERSION 2
SCARBOURGH : Won the League fairly comfortable. FA CUP: Beat several teams from the League above and away to Division 2 Walsall before going out on penalties away to Carlisle.
Won the FA TROPHY again beating several teams from the League above.
SUNDERLAND : Form dropped off a t times. FM 26 tactics rely a lot on moral. A couple of defeats, even if you are unlucky, then it becomes hard. My objective was to avoid relegation and i was never in a relegation battle so i had to be fairly happen.
NEXT SEASON
I saw plenty from Scarborough to suggest i can compete in the next Division, and even into Division 2.
For the first time though i will try to bring some players in and we'll see if that helps, particularly with Sunderland being in the Premier League.
