FIFA World Cup 2026 new format

FIFA is analyzing changing the format of the 2026 World Cup to a format of 12 groups of 4 teams, where the best 2 of each group and the 8 best third places qualify for the second round.

It seems a little more interesting than the 16 groups of 3 teams, that's why I replicated it for FM23.

If you find it more interesting you can opt for this world cup system for the game, this file does not alter anything else in the game.

There's a file that removes the World Cup of 2022, adding the history of what happened in Qatar.

To install it, you just have to copy the downloaded file to the editor data folder and select it when starting a new game.
