-- SCREEN RESOLUTION NOTE --

Recommended width of the screen - from 1280px to 1920px
Recommended height of the screen - from 768px to 1080px

For higher width/height than recommended values it is better to play on a 125% zoom. For lower width/height than recommended it is much better to play on a 85/95% zoom. Of course You can still try to play on not recommended screen resolutions but they might cause little problems.

-- HOW TO INSTALL CFM SKIN 2017 IN FM17 --

Download the .rar archive and use a tool such as 7-zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for MacOSX to extract its contents.

Move the extracted folder "CFM Skin 2017" to your skins folder:
\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2017\skins\

Run Football Manager 2017 and go to Preferences > Interface.
You should see "CFM Skin 2017” as an option in the skin drop down of the General options section.
Hit the Confirm button.

@Pikawa Well kinda agree with you, that panel doesn't fit properly in lowres. I guess i gonna stick with this one and wait the new version.

Why broadcast your view unless you're under some illusion that your opinion matters then? Where did I say you should <insert vulgarity> about his skin? I'm merely saying if you've got nothing constructive to say don't bother saying anything as you don't provide any of the 'a lot to improve'. Talk is cheap. Your dismissive attitude shows you don't have the first idea with what's involved in making a skin. Don't like it fair enough but what purpose does your comment serve? None. Don't come on here with your disrespect, no skin maker should have to put up with that, given the service they provide FREE OF CHARGE, period.

@D_LO_ Why do you think, I think somebody cares??? I don't give a flying F about it dude... I just stated, it;s average. End of story. If you expect everyone just wanking about this skin that's your problem. There is a lot to improve with CFM.

@SeVengeance, I removed it from lower resolutions beacuse imo it was pointless to show 1-2 pro/cons without scrolling. That area can be filled much better.

If You want I can bring back this for You. Just give me informations about Your resolution, zoom, full screen or windowed mode, sidebar icons-only or the other one.

I will try at least beacuse last days I haven't got much time for skinning. Work on CFM Skin are going slowly but we are closer to the next release anyways.

Last days I tried to rework our match titlebar to something what is smaller and looks much better. I almost gave up beacuse of no ideas but yesterday, inspired by Emil and his Vitrex Skin I've finally closed this topic for me. Here is the brand new CFM Skin 2017 scoreboard.

IMO - looks quite nice, suitable for any resolution and what is also important - support for most of the languages (including greek!).

Once again thank you for the great skin mate. Just one problem, the pro/cons and best player tabs is missing from player overview. Do you remove it on this version or this is a bug? Thanks

@US ARSENAL, is that happening only on CFM Skin or on any skin You've got?
@Valkyrie, everything works fine for me. I didn't even touch anything in that panels since v0.5 so I need more informations about this. Screenshot maybe?

I have a suggestion for 0.7 version. There is a (big) problem in the tactics screen. If you click and drag a player onto the pitch or even on the tactic screen, the dragged player doesnt show up. It's hard to explain, but when you usually drag a player, his name sticks with the mouse until you replace another player and this doesn't happen in 0.6 version. Hope you fix this. Great job so far. I only wish we had such a great skin back in 2014 days :)

@US ARSENAL, dont think it is a skin related issue... Im having troubles with that on a fullscreen mode sometimes - on any skin. Screen goes black and I cant do anything. I minimise and maximise screen once again and everything works fine.

great skin, i used it for a while, then all of a sudden every time i minimize the game and bring it back it has a black screen. Ive updated drivers etc and it still does it any ideas ??

Just logged in to say this, best skin ever no jokes, only thing I could say is maybe add a pannel for the city pictures? Top job btw and hopefully you keep this skin going.

@pikawa: took me a while, but figured it out. The picture size needs to be 1600x900 (altough i'm playing in 1920x1080). Tnx!

@pikawa, you've created the best skin for the FM17 imo.
Only 2 things changed would make it perfect for me:

1. Player stats in the home screen
Is it possible to move the pictures to the left that there is a space between the pictures and the stats?

Is it possible to show up the best 5 instead of the best 3 player of every category? I think it would look better.

@raizen, go to graphics/icons/custom and delete role rating folder. That will bring back the default pie chart. Have fun with CFM Skin!

is there a way to change the role suitability bar back into the normal pie chart? it's the only thing that i'm uncomfortable with

@Furrr, It is really simple - just download graphic program that will convert the jpg/png/etc. image into .dds file. paint.net is free to use. Just open .jpg file in paint.net, save it as add_manager_background.dds and replace it with current one placed in /textures. That's all!

In previous versions it was really easy to change the background image of the mainmenu (skin/graphics/main menu) in jpg. format.

The background image is changed in this version, i see a .dds format file in the texture map. I switched it with my background main menu image from FM16(changed it from jpg to dds) but all i got was a black background.

Is it possible to change the background of the mainmenu?
