Thomas Tuchel's 3-4-3 is a well known tactic in the modern game. It is the perfect mix of
defending solid and also being able to counter and score loads of goals.
Tuchel is a manager who had quite a fast come up and has managed top sides such as Dortmund, PSG
and also his current side Chelsea which some would say is by far his hardest challenge yet.
With this tactic you are going to be getting some outstanding results, but please do remember
that this style of play is not 100% short passing tiki taka. Sometimes tuchel will go long with
passes when there is the option to do so.
I tested this tactic with 3 sides which he has managed as I do with all of my manager recreations
as it makes it just a bit more personal to the tactic in my eyes.
Test 1- Dortmund
Test 2- Chelsea
Test 3- PSG
I have also left a screenshot below of the tactic but please do watch the video at the start of
this page for a more in depth breakdown of this tactic.
For a more in depth tactic breakdown, please check out the video at the top of this page. In the
video we go over how the tactic plays in game and what you can expect from it. We also talk about
various in game changes you could possibly do if you need a goal. Any support on the video is highly
appreciated as always <3
