FM24 AFC Club Continental Competitions (ACLE, ACL2 & ACGL)

Starting from the 2024-25 season, AFC will revamp its club competition. Third tier competition will be introduced for teams from middle and low-ranked countries, while the AFC Champions League will be limited to top countries only.

AFC Champions League Elite
The traditional group stage will also be replaced by Swiss system. The 24 teams will be divided into West & East group, each consists of 12 teams. Every team will play 8 matches, 4 home & 4 away in their group. After the completion of the 8 matches, all teams in the group will be ranked by their points. Top 8 teams in each group will qualify to the round of 16.

AFC Champions League 2
The 2nd tier competition will consists of team from top and middle-level countries. The format will resemble the old-style AFC Cup, with 32 teams divided into 8 groups. Region separation will be kept until the final.

AFC Challenge League
The 20 teams from middle-ranked countries and low-ranked countries will be divided into 5 groups, 3 West groups and 2 East groups. Each team will also play only 3 matches in the group stage. The group winners and 3 best runner-up will qualify into the knockout stage.

How to install the AFC Club Continental Competitions on FM24

1. Download the Data File.
2. Drag the file into your "Editor Data" folder. located at "\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data". If this folder doesn't exist, create it.
3. Open Football Manager 2024 and start a new career, In the top right of the screen, under "Database", make sure this Data File is selected.
