OVERVIEW

TACTIC

Testing was carried out using a 70/30 split between holiday and manual play. The majority of league fixtures were holidayed for consistency, while cup matches and key league games were played manually.

Set pieces and training were handled in the same way as in my long-term livestream saves, with no testing-specific optimisation.

A rotation of three closely related variants was used throughout the season. These were small tweaks of the base tactic designed to suit different game states and opposition approaches, reflecting realistic long-term save usage rather than reliance on a single static setup.

Another concern is cadence and depth. When tactics are released every two days, it strongly suggests most of the time is spent simulating seasons and editing videos, not iterating, observing, adjusting, and re-testing in a focused way. Tactical development in FM is slow if done seriously. High frequency output usually comes at the cost of depth, not because the process is especially efficient.

Related to that, it is unclear whether any of these systems have ever been tested in a competitive benchmarking environment like FM Arena or similar communities that enforce standardized testing conditions. Those platforms are imperfect, but they at least remove personal bias, simulation shortcuts, and presentation framing. Without ever exposing a tactic to that kind of environment, it is difficult to assess whether the creator has meaningful experience stress testing systems beyond controlled personal saves.

This is not about intent or effort. It is about whether the process reflects careful tactical construction or rapid content production. From what is shown here, it leans much more toward the latter.
