1. Setup your Game Directory
• At the top of the application, locate the Game Directory field.
• Click on Browse and select the main installation folder of your game. This allows the app to know exactly where to apply your skins.
Windows Steam:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64
Windows Epic Games:
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Football Manager 26\fm_Data\StreamingAssets\aa\StandaloneWindows64
2. Importing Skins
• To add a new skin/mod to the manager, simply drag and drop the skin folder directly anywhere into the application window. The app will automatically extract and import it into your managed Skins list.
3. Activating and Applying Skins
• Navigate to the Skins tab.
• You will see a list of all your imported skins. Use the toggle switch next to a skin's name to enable or disable it.
• Once you've selected the skins you want to use, click the "Apply Selected Skins" button. The app will safely copy the necessary files to your Game Directory.
4. Creating and Restoring Backups
• Before making significant changes, navigate to the Backups tab to create a safety copy of your game directory.
• Type a memorable name in the text box (e.g., "VanillaState" or "BeforeModding") and click "Create Backup".
• If something breaks or you want to revert to a previous state, simply find the backup in the list and click "Restore".
5. Additional settings
• Theme: You can click the "Toggle Theme" button in the top right to switch between Light and Dark mode.
• Lo gs: If you encounter any issues, you can click "Open Logs" or adjust the log level from the dropdown at the top to help identify errors.
Update v1.0.18
A small update
Timestamp suffix on backups
Backups sorted newest-first
Before applying the skins, the app now iterates over all currently enabled skins.
It scans for any .bundle files they provide.
If multiple enabled skins contain a file with the exact same file name, it constructs a warning message listing these conflicted files (showing up to 10 lines to prevent unreadable dialogs) and identifying which skins are conflicting over each file.
