What a great idea to vent some of the frustrations with the game.
1. When a player is in the reserve squad or available for the reserves there should be a option to tell the reserve coach that you want this player to be played in the game.
For example if I need to keep a player fresh then I can make him available for the reserve team
but this doe's not mean he will be picked for the reserve team. There should be an option where
you can have a preference that the player plays in the reserve match and that he is not left on the subs bench or not even picked.
2. Same again with the under 18 squad. I currently have a 4-star potential player in my under 18 squad yet the coach I have put in charge never picks him to play and instead puts a 1 star player potential player in his position. There needs to be an option where I can set it so that this player is involved in all the games and given preferential treatment (as would happen in real life).
3.Improved player interaction. What's the deal with telling a player who you think has done well and then the player saying I don't think I have been very good actually and then his morale decreases...?! Even if he thought he did not play very well why on earth would someone's morale go down if the manager told him he did a good job?
4.Again as many have said more realistic transfers. I get fed up with offering ridiculous sums of money and constantly getting turned down. Cesc Fabregas was a prime example in FM2011 where you get not get him for much less than 70 million yet in reality he went to Barca for 40 million. And in FM2012 its much the same. I offered something like 45 million for Mario Gotze and was turned down again and again and in the game 6 months later he joined a club for 30 million!!. So my 45 million offer gets turned down and yet a 6 months on he is sold for 30 million.
5. What about some sort of trophy cabinet you can enter to see all the trophy's you have won?
6. Manager relationships where they feel you "could be friends" but you never actually become friends!
There are many more but that's all I can think of for now. Would be great to think the developer's might read this and listen to our criticism's.
