Well, sometimes you just fail to keep a promise no matter how hard you try. I'm mainly referring to work, and especially when it comes to producing something for free. It's usually related to priorities and mood.
And by the way, I've never given a static release date, so I haven't "ever written something I couldn't deliver".

i translate tv shows and i always translate for free and also on time... so people need to keep their word. Its really important thing.
