This tactical setup is solid defensively with a well-balanced midfield, allowing quick transitions between defense and attack.
Geared to counter-attack or sustain possession, with a strong focus on utilizing the width of the pitch through the fullbacks.
Formation Overview (4-2-3-1):

Defenders: There are five defenders:
Wide-Backs: Provide width on the flanks.
Center-Backs: Positioned centrally in the defense. Their primary role is to defend and block the opposition’s central attacking threats.
Defensive Midfielders: Deployed as central midfielders in a double pivot. They are tasked with providing defensive cover, distributing the ball, and linking the defense with the attack. The RCM can also advance into attacking positions when necessary.
Attacking Midfielders: Operate as central attacking midfielders, with a more creative and forward-thinking role, supporting the striker and linking up play.
Striker: Plays as the lone forward, leading the attack. The striker's primary responsibility is to finish chances, hold up the ball, and create space for the attacking midfielders.
