FM20 Tactic: 4-1-4-1 Custom Control Possesion (CikeCake)

Like I said, good tactic fore weaker clubs. If you are trying to play “fast” football against bigger clubs, you“ll probably get only a lot of lost balls, bad percentage of possessions and maybe if you have luck, some counter attack. Because of that, I always prefer to play possession football.

My tactic is based on 6 things. Let’s start from defense.

First thing: Sweeper Keeper (I’m always trying to play with (SK) because of that long balls that goes over the defense.. I just don't like watching him how he wait for a goal)

Second: Backs (I preferred a backs with good (crossing, positioning and composure)). I want them to be present in the attack, but to not press to much in defense, because of fast opponents wingers and strikers. In this tactic backs are maybe the most important thing. Because my game is based on Overlap instructions.

Third: Central Defenders (Because I'm trying to *Play Out Of Defense, i need always one good BPD to start attack, and CD for defense to clear every ball)

Fourth: Midfielders (One AP, one DPL and DM. If you want to have a successful tactic, you“ll need to put a instructions for every player based on theirs attributes and skills)

Fifth: Wingers (I’m playing with AP on left side *because of players ability, but I prefer IF. On right side Winger *player ability, but I also prefer a IF)

And the sixth thing: Strikers (AF I want to have a striker who can score a goal, and create a goal)









ATTACKING WIDTH: little wider because I want to have a space in the attack APPROACH PLAY: I already said above FINAL THIRD: you can try with HEC and WBB. Play For SP it’s main thing when you’r trying to beat a stronger team. About TRANSITION. REGROUP because of fast opponent players, and COUNTER because of co–att

DEFENSIVE SHAPE: wide, because of good wingers. And hard pressing *try always to press a opponent players with least composure
