FM 2011 Demo Correction for Mac users

Steam users, both PC and Mac, experienced an update of roughly 82MB for the FM 2011 Demo. And there was no official announcement from SI about it. Why? Well, it was no patch really, just a correction to get the proper version out to Mac Steam users.

The Mac version of the demo that was uploaded to Steam originally was a beta demo, and not the gold demo. So SI have updated the Mac version to being the gold demo. The PC version has not changed at all, but Steam users experienced a Mac file being downloaded as an addition to their install, which is not accessed by the PC version at all.

This is SI's fault and not Steam's, as Miles Jacobson confirmed.

Another member from the Sports Interactive team also added:

This update only affected Mac users, but it was picked up on the PC side as well. Apologies for causing a download to occur on PC installations, we're looking at preventing this from happening again going forward. I can re-iterate though that the update only affected Mac users, the PC demo has not changed at all.
