In Italy, for several years, many teams have been American-owned and in Serie A alone, among the twenty teams in the championship, we count half of them.
In this scenario, the Kraft family, instead of purchasing an already existing team as done by other compatriots, decides to import the concept of franchise into Italy, creating a new team called Bari Waves, based in the city of the same name and with club colors Navy Blue and Yellow.
The club will debut in Serie C (third level of the Italian football system) in Group C.

The new team will have the following affiliations:
New England
New England 2
Revolution Academy
Havre AC
Mallorca
Havre SC and Mallorca will be able to send Bari Waves players on loan, given that they are leagues with very permissive squad registration rules for certain nations and because both have American ownership.

- Owner: Daniel Kraft
- Director: Claudio Reyna
- Director: Joseph J. Greco
- Director of Football: Walter Sabatini
- Assistant coach: Michael Bradley
Walter Sabatini was chosen for his great experience as Sports Director in Italy and because of the good relationships he established with the MLS in his adventure at the Montreal Impact.
Michael Bradley was chosen because of his experience as a player also in Italy with the shirts of ChievoVerona and Roma.

- Stadium: MetLife Arena with 25000 seats
- Training Center: Airbnb Training Center
- Stadium for Youth Academies: Cash App Academy Center

To create an even stronger bond between the MLS franchises and the Bari Waves, a friendly competition has been included which will take place at the Yankee Stadium towards the end of July each year and which will see the challenge between the Bari Waves as a fixed team and one of MLS franchises that change from year to year.
The competition will have a prize for both the winner and the loser.
- The 'Z_Bari Waves - Italia 24-25 & Uber Cup_DS.fmf' File, which allows you to play this scenario.
- The 'Italia 24-25 (stadi).fmf' and 'Italia 24-25 (squadre).fmf' Files, as auxiliary files.
- A folder called '0_Bari_Waves' where you will find all the graphics regarding Bari Waves inside
- The 'Z_Bari Waves - Italia 24-25 & Uber Cup_DS.fmf' file must be inserted in:
Documents/Sport Interecative/Football Manager 2024/editor data
- The 'Italia 24-25 (stadi).fmf' file must be inserted in:
Documents/Sport Interecative/Football Manager 2024/editor data
- The 'Italia 24-25 (squadre).fmf' file must be inserted in:
Documents/Sport Interecative/Football Manager 2024/editor data
- The '0_Bari_Waves' folder must be inserted in
Documents/Sport Interecative/Football Manager 2024/graphics
.
Based on the transfer and promotion/relegation update for the 2024-25 season, the IDs of the various members of Bari Waves may vary depending on the save.
- Start the game on July 3 via England starting as unemployed.
- Simulate until September 2nd which is the first day of closing transfers.
- Insert your manager by choosing the Bari Waves team and withdrawing the old profile.
This way you will have a squad of 23-24 players and you can start your game from there.
Have fun

Marco.

You can't do anything about it unfortunately because MLS has its own rules so lend them to other teams not in MLS.
Any suggestions for loaning players to the MLS affiliate though? Always seem I get some kind of message basically stating the players contract needs to be restructured / converted to a MLS type of contract, how would I do that?
Thanks, that was the problem then.
I update the article by adding this notice.
The team ID may depend on the transfer update databases you included. The one I use, the team has that ID that I put in the various configs, but you can check like this:
