Following a blog post about Total Football, I tried to create my own tactic. My requirements:
- I want my wingers to provide width and attack their opponents in 1 v 1's;
- I want fluidity in midfield;
- I want to create high quality chances;
Assumption: high quality chances are either tap-ins or 1 v 1s
The points above result in the following formation:

Much higher defensive line and lower line of engagement discourages opponents from playing the long ball, while also giving the opponent no space to play into the midfield around the halfway line. Also gives you plenty of space to counter.
Season analysis:

Last 5 matches (for goal locations)

Additional PI's:
- WB-S with stay wider for wide overload on the right side
- CM-S Take more risks, dribble more, move into channels
- AM-S get further forward
No OI's.
In match tweaks:
- Complete forward to advanced forward if we need to play more direct football
- Drop the defensive line to higher if you find your defense to be overrun (used it against Ajax, PSV and conference league when needed)
Feel free to leave comments and tips, I think the striker role is far from perfect, but it supports the surrounding players very well.
