It depends on how much of a step back it'd be, honestly. I've never gone through a relegation on FM. If I got to keep most of my players and staff I would take a chance at getting back into the Bundesliga, if I had to completely rebuild or if I couldn't get back in I would go somewhere else, but I don't see myself getting relegated. Even if I finish in 16th place I don't see a way that I would lose a two-leg series to any 2.Bundesliga club.

Bundesliga - January 2015

Matches

Here are some comments that Pep Guardiola had to say before Bayern's game with St. Pauli:
Either Pep's trying to play some mind games or he's seriously trying to praise the upstart side. I think it's a little of both, personally! Sabrina responded, saying "It's great to hear that someone else thinks you're doing a good job and even better when it's someone I admire and respect greatly like Pep."

January 24, 2015
Bayern Munich 2 - 0 St. Pauli
Bayern Munich bossed the midfield and kept St. Pauli from having much of the ball. Still, we had some chances on the break but our finishing let us down.
Player of the Match: Koray Kacinoglu (St. Pauli)

January 27, 2015
St. Pauli 2 - 2 Schalke
St. Pauli took the lead with Christopher Buchtmann's impressive lob over the goalkeeper. However, Schalke soon took over and had a 2-1 lead. Winston Reid rescued a draw when he volleyed in a corner kick.
Player of the Match: Julian Draxler (Schalke)

Bundesliga Table

Transfers

Unfortunately, I got no new money for the winter transfer window.

In
He fell out of contract with Cork City and we snatched him up because Benjamin Leroy is unhappy and will be leaving the team soon.

This guy was bought from Catania for 21k. He is coming off a torn hamstring but this is a very low-risk deal for us, and we're looking at him to fill the trequartista slot.
The signings looks decent, and you've got up a place in the BuLi! Great stuff Eb!

Bundesliga - February 2015

Matches

February 1, 2015
Leverkusen 2 - 0 St. Pauli
Leverkusen stunned us with two goals in the first 20 minutes. We held them scoreless after that until the end, but we couldn't move the ball and shoot enough to get back into the game.
Player of the Match: Winston Reid (St. Pauli)

February 4, 2015
St. Pauli 2 - 2 Mainz
Winston Reid showed great skill and perserverence today in scoring two goals off of corner kicks, unfortunately, St. Pauli's leaky defense resigned them to a draw.
Player of the Match: Winston Reid (St. Pauli)

February 7, 2015
Hoffenheim 3 - 1 St. Pauli
Anthony Modeste scored a brace and Hoffenheim had the benefit of home cooking, including two red cards, to win the match 3-1.
Player of the Match: Anthony Modeste (Hoffenheim)

February 14, 2015
St. Pauli 1 - 1 Stuttgart
Both goals happened in the second half. Stuttgart's goal was on an unfortunate piece of business where the ball was tackled right to their striker and Stojanovic was out of position. Bernd Nehrig was sent off late in the match.
Player of the Match: Fabian Boll (St. Pauli)

February 20, 2015
Werder Bremen 1 - 6 St. Pauli
Marc Rzatkowski had his breakout performance here, scoring his first hat trick, and St. Pauli in general was just fantastic here!
Player of the Match: Marc Rzatkowski (St. Pauli)

After the victory, a staggering eight of St. Pauli's players were named to the Bundesliga Team of the Week. In addition, Schwartz got job interview offers from both Hannover and Schalke, who fired their managers. Of course, she declined them to stay loyal to St. Pauli.

In addition, she got an interview offer with Everton, but unfortunately she don't bleed blue.

February 28, 2015
St. Pauli 2 - 1 Freiburg
Each team got a player sent off and in a game of 10v10 football St. Pauli came away the winner.
Player of the Match: Paul-Jose Mpoku (Freiburg)
Injury Update: Sebastian Maier suffered a fractured wrist and will miss 5-6 weeks.

Bundesliga Table

Things got better at the end. Hope you keep it up!

For a newly-promoted team you're doing very respectably, but for now it's all about survival. What a strange affair at the top of the table, too...HSV and Gladbach joint top!? Bayern 4th!? :O

Pretty interesting you got another job offer from Everton, too, they must really like you :P

Bundesliga - March 2015

Matches

March 3, 2015 - DFB-Pokal Quarterfinal
Leverkusen 2 - 4 St. Pauli
A surprise victory here, as Leverkusen seemed totally unable to cope with St. Pauli's passing! Dave Deegan dazzled Leverkusen, and scored a goal when he intercepted a long free kick from the goalkeeper and lobbed him.
Player of the Match: Dave Deegan (St. Pauli)

- In this week's episode of rejected job interviews: Valencia.

March 8, 2015
Gladbach 2 - 1 St. Pauli
With Alberto forced off due to a red card, Soren Gonther couldn't provide as solid defense and we had a tougher time keeping Gladbach out of goal. We gained a man advantage with a red card, pulled one back, but equalized the numbers with a red card of our own and couldn't equalize the score.
Player of the Match: Max Kruse (Gladbach)

March 14, 2015
St. Pauli 2 - 1 Wolfsburg
Staring down a one goal deficit, Kalla scored indirectly off a free kick and Dave Deegan scored an excellent goal in the last 5 minutes of the 90 to secure a comeback win.
Player of the Match: Bernd Nehrig (St. Pauli)

- In this edition of rejected job interviews: Evian TG

March 21, 2015
Dortmund 4 - 1 St. Pauli
Unfortunately, St. Pauli couldn't achieve a season sweep of Dortmund. Dortmund were definitely superior, but not as much as the score indicated, they got some home cooking with two marginal penalty calls against St. Pauli. As well, each team had a goal off a direct free kick.
Player of the Match: Mats Hummels (Dortmund)

March 30, 2015: Evan Chevalier twisted his ankle and will miss 3 weeks.

Bundesliga Table

Transfers

We picked up Germain Sanou who was a free agent and had just been released from a trial with another club. He'll be another goalkeeper prospect and give me the flexibility to loan out Mike Griffin.
A couple more wins and you should be able to secure safety. What a goal by Deegan, too, same kinda thing happened to me in FM13 with Oriental :D
What a goal! Climbing up the table, can you get some EURO League qualy?

Bundesliga - April 2015

Matches

April 4, 2015
St. Pauli 2 - 2 Koln
We blew a 2 goal halftime lead and couldn't take a 3 points that would have really helped us out, but we didn't lose, either.
Player of the Match: Juan Fuentes (St. Pauli)

April 10, 2015
HSV 4 - 0 St. Pauli
We just got destroyed here, and a red card to Winston Reid didn't help.
Player of the Match: Orhan Ademi (HSV)

April 18, 2015
St. Pauli 2 - 3 Nurnberg
We controlled possession but it didn't help. Bjarne Thoelke, who played for St. Pauli last year scored against us, and although Geoffrey Mujangi Bia had two assists, we didn't win.
Player of the Match: Geoffrey Mujangi Bia (St. Pauli)

April 21, 2015 - DFB-Pokal Semi Final
Schalke 2 - 4 St. Pauli
ST. PAULI ARE OFF TO THE FINALS! Despite their finishing woes, they put them aside and had a hell of a show, stunning Schalke in their home arena.
Player of the Match: Marc Rzatkowski (St. Pauli)

April 25, 2015
Hannover 1 - 0 St. Pauli
Hannover really committed a smash and grab here, one that greatly improves their chances of avoiding relegation and hurts ours. We dominated the game, but they scored a goal and we couldn't match it, so they won the match.
Player of the Match: Christopher Avevor (Hannover)

Bundesliga Table

With matches against Frankfurt and Hertha BSC coming up next month, the relegation playoffs start NOW! Thankfully, we control our own destiny, but, so do they.
Hard month man. Hopefully you stay up.
Massive win against Schalke, to the final!
In the league I really believe you can stay up....let's do this!

Bundesliga - May 2015

Matches

May 2, 2015
St. Pauli 0 - 1 Frankfurt
Another bitter loss for St. Pauli, where Frankfurt did more with the ball and St. Pauli suffered a red card.
Player of the Match: Kostas Fortounis (Frankfurt)

May 9, 2015
Hertha BSC 2 - 4 St. Pauli
In the first half, Marco Meilinger put St. Pauli on the back foot twice, but they equalized. In the second half, it was nervy as a draw would consign St. Pauli to relegation, but they came through with two big goals late, and St. Pauli is staying up!
Player of the Match: Marco Meilinger (Hertha BSC)

- PSV offered Sabrina Schwartz a job interview, but she declined. Some guy in the Netherlands named Michael went nuts and demanded the job.

May 23, 2015 - DFB-Pokal Final at Olympiastadion
St. Pauli 1 - 7 Bayern Munich after extra time
What a joke. We survived until extra time, when Gotze scored a goal in the first period. Okay, fine, but then two of my players are forced off (one injury, one red card), and Bayern gets three penalty calls in the second extra time period, and just dominates our 9.
Player of the Match: Mario Gotze (Bayern Munich)

Still, we qualified for the Europa League!

Bundesliga Table

Just barely!
(Hertha BSC lost the playoff to Union Berlin 3-4, so they will also be relegated for Union Berlin.)
Congrats on staying up

Transfers

We have bought hardworking midfielder Hannes Van Der Brugge from PAOK for 3.6 million Euros. He will take over the ball winning midfielder position from Fabian Boll.

We bought center back Kenny Otigba from Vitesse for 1.1 million. He'll be the third center back in our rotation and gives Alberto some flexibility to move up to a center midfield spot if need be.

Out
- John Verhoek has been sold to NAC Breda for 425K. He is not part of our plans and it's nice to get a useless contract off the books.
- Christopher Nothe has been sold to Kaiserslautern for 325K. In order for him to take a lesser contract, we will still be paying him 3.2K a week but it's a far cry from his current salary.
- Michael Gregoritch will sign with Cottbus for 300K.
