Christmas Update!
So, quite a bit has happened in the past 6 months. We're in a pretty decent league position to say we were heavily tipped for relegation, predicted to come 16th out of 18.
Anyway, onto results...

So, we're in a pretty stable position. We're quite a bit away from the bottom 3, but not securely, with 16th place only having 5 points less than us.
Turkish Cup
So we've conquered all the preliminary rounds and are now into the group stages. This is our group:

So, not the most productive of windows in all fairness. The team is bearing well in the league and cup competitions, and didn't need much strengthening. However next summer I expect to bing in some well known faces, and go for a top half finish.

Manisaspor advance to Turkish cup semis!
Walter Smith's Manisaspor topped Group A of the Turkish cup with 11 points, topping second place Eskisehirspor on goal difference. Smith has expressed his delight to reach such a high stage, and says that people shouldn't rule his side out of winning the competition.
"I have a great set of lads out there who's lives are preliminarily football. We're performing extremely well in all competitions we contribute in, smashing all of out expected targets. However, we need to try to not become complacent. We're not reassured safety yet in the league, that should become our main target."
