Ouch, the Manchester clubs had a field day against you. Besides those games though, It was a good month, so hopefully you can carry your good form over to the next month so you can push for top 4! :D

Too bad you lost against the almighty United :D Magnificent story man. Keep it up. Hate the team but love the story!

October: Further Down

It was a bad month for Liverpool as they lost games against Tottenham and Newcastle, before securing three points against West Ham. Not the results Jamie Carragher and the Liverpool fans would have liked to see. Despite dropping to 7th in the league table however, Carra remains determined that his side can push on.

Premier League

Newcastle 2 - 1 Liverpool
Coutinho

Liverpool 0 - 3 Tottenham

West Ham 1 - 2 Liverpool
Rat
Henderson

Player of the Month

The club's Player of the Month in October has to be Jordan Henderson. While his teammates were completely outplayed against Tottenham, Henderson was one of the better Liverpool players on the field. He followed this up with a magnificent leading performance against West Ham and his late 81st minute winner secured his side the three points.

OK so maybe I was wrong :P
Your form was not too good this month but looking at your next month their are definitely some winnable games which can get you back up the table!
That was not the best month for you Glenn. I will remain confident that you can turn this around next month.
hahahahahahahhahaah 6-1 ;) ahh just had to say that :) other than that harsh thrashing you received you're doing alright, and made good signings :P

Carra's Journal: Summer Woe

4 November 2013

As the season progresses further and further, I am starting to think about some of the signings the club made over the summer, in the absence of a manager.

Players like Iago Aspas and Luis Alberto have all but failed to impress. Tiago Ilori is unable to break into the first team even with Sebastian Coates injured.

Victor Moses and Aly Cissokho have both been, so far, unimpressive, but on the bright side they're merely loans and will return to their parent club.

Even Simon Mignolet, who was revered as a fantastic goalkeeper and someone who would serve as our first-choice in goal for years to come, has been more of a rotation option than a first-choice with Timo Horn getting better and better with each appearance.

The only man who came in the summer courtesy of Rodolfo Borrell and has impressed is Mamadou Sakho. He's been performing better than Daniel Agger in recent weeks and I feel that he's going to be a real asset to the club for many years.

The January transfer window is coming closer and closer, and I think it's time for some players to leave the club, even if they've only been here six months.

We need better if we want to think of Liverpool as a Champions League club, and not a club that will only be known for dangling in mid-table.

The injuries have also not helped one bit. Stevie was injured on international duty, something that made me quite frustrated. He's our core man, and to have him on the sidelines really reduces our midfield capabilities. It's a long injury and he's going to be out for at least 2 months. Unfortunate, but I am not as worried in that department because we have some other wonderful midfielders to hold the fort, like Lucas Leiva and Jordan Henderson.

But with all these injuries and poor performances, can we really secure a top four placing before the end of the season?

For the first time I'm starting to doubt it.
