I believe that this deal is a bargain for this club and I hope to have many years of success with Paul in my team”.

It'll be interesting to see how this story goes. One of the big things in any Scottish story is breaking the Old Firm, and right now it's only Celtic that's dominating the league, but the Rangers are like a dormant villain in a long-running series that you know will be back sooner rather than later. I love Hibernian's colors, too. :D

Thanks for your comment mate, I personally can't wait for Rangers to come back into the league as it makes it more of a challenge. Hopefully it doesn't take me too long to break Celtics dominance. They're the best colours in Bonny Scotland lol.
Good start mate, hopefully you can break the Celtic domination and keep Rangers at bay when they inevitably return to the SPL!!

Good luck!! :)

As I'm almost finished my first season I am going to do some streamlined updates until the point I am at now then I'll get into more detail after that. I also won't be putting the league table up until my last streamlined update.

June & July

Pre-season & 2nd Round of Europa League:
Pre-season went pretty well the results against Anji & River were particularly impressive. In a weird set of circumstances we were drawn against Hibernians of Malta in the Europa League. They were a pretty poor side and the scorelines in both fixtures were no shock at all.

HIBERNIAN PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Paul Heffernan: Although I only played 2 competitive games my player of the month has to be Paul Heffernan the experienced Striker scored an incredible 7 Goals in the 2 Europa League fixtures.
Some good results there, nice to see you progress in the Europa League as well :)

August

Scottish Premiership & 3rd round of Europa League:

A pretty mixed bag of a month. I was pretty disappointed in going out of the Europa League but it helps me focus on the domestic competitions. The league results were great but I feel we could have done a lot better against Ross County.

HIBERNIAN PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Paul Heffernan: The Irishman showed again some lethal form in front of goal scoring 4 goals in 7 games. Heffernan is now my main striker and has moved James Collins to the bench.

Cheers mate, didn't really last too long though :(, always next year though ;) lol

September & October

Scottish Premiership & Scottish League Cup:

September:

Another good month for the Hibees which ended with my first win over Hearts in the Edinburgh Derby. You can’t beat scoring in the last minute against your biggest rivals to put them out of a cup.

HIBERNIAN PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Kevin Thomson: My captain has been in great form this month bossing the midfield in every game we played, also getting a goal and setting up 3 for his team mates.

October:

Not the best of months for us with only 1 win in 4 games. We did play Celtic twice though so I can’t be too disheartened. The game against Partick was a big disappointment though as I expected to win this match with ease. We did well to bounce back after thedefeat against Celtic to beat a good side in Aberdeen, who probably should have won the match.

HIBERNIAN PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Alex Harris: The young winger has been in great form and would have added to his single assist if it wasn’t for our misfiring strikers.

November & December

Scottish Premiership & Scottish Cup

November:

A really bad month except for the Scottish Cup win against Kilmarnock. My strikers are playing particularly poor and if they don’t buck their ideas up soon they won’t be at the cub much longer. We have only won 3 games out of 10 with 2 of the wins coming in the Scottish Cup.

HIBERNIAN PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Liam Craig: The best of a bad bunch, if it wasn’t for the midfielders 2 goals I probably wouldn’t have awarded it to anyone, it’s been that bad.

December:

A great month not only did we win all 4 games but we managed to beat Celtic for the first time this season. What a difference a month makes I hope my team can kick on now and get a decent run under our belts. Although we have had a good month I have started to lose patience with Heffernan & Collins, I think I might give youngster Cody Mulhall his chance in the team.

HIBERNIAN PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Paul Hanlon: The vice captain has been instrumental this month and his 2 goals against Celtic has boosted his confidence dramatically.
Unlucky about the first month, but a great second month :)
