Hardy's new job?

Sky spots news, can reveal today, that Poland manager Aaron Hardy has signed a contract with polish side, Piast. Hardy, has not revealed whether or not he will resign from the national job but many believe the reason he has joined Piast, is so he can develop his national side. Some views were given by the Piasr board on twitter, here is what the fas had to say...

@Piast1794: @PiastOfficial @AaronHardy_Pole So happy Aaron is at our club now, would never have thought it. 7 wins and 2 draws in 9 games for Poland, unbeaten.
#HardyArmy

@GerkaszKrzoviach: @AaronHardy_Pole @PiastOfficial, You have done wonders for our country, bring glory to Piast! #HardyArmy #Proud2BeAPole

Those tweets are just a pick of the bunch, and it is clear that most, if not, all of the Piast fans are extremley delighted with his appointment, we will hear from Hardy in the next Hour or so in his first press conferance.
:D:D Keep it up!
Good luck with Piast! :D
Cheers paper:) (Y)
Cheers Jason, I hope to take them a long way!

The press conferance

Evening, Hardy, we've not seen you around these part of late.

Haha, Well I can assure you, you will be seeing a lot more of me!

Indeed. First question, many people would believe Piast is a step down from the national side, do you think that is a fair assessment?

Of, course. Im not going to say it isn't because it is...any job at national level is better than club level in my opinion, but I am still with Poland, and the reason i am here is so I can have fun inbetween international games, and to build this side up to be the best, so that Poland can be the best!

That kind of hints, you'll be looking to develop players through the youth system instead of buying foreign players, yes?

Yes.

What are you more focused on? Poland or Piast?

Im equally focused on both jobs.

Ok, well we will let you be for now, Speak to you soon.

Good-bye
Nice job landing a team that came 4th last season!
Not sure if insult or compliment O.o haha;)

December - Starting strong

Piast vs GKS Katowice

There was only one match in the month of December due to the winter break, but it was a match to remember, beating last place GKS Katowice, 2-0.
Obvioulsy we were favorites, as they are bottom of the table, but it is still a match I wouldn't take advantage, of. We went out with the strongest team we could field.

First goal came in the 42nd minute through Horoszkiewicz, we were handed a free kick on the left flank, and as it was crossed in by central midfielder Pazdan, Horoszkiewicz was watching all the way touching it down brilliantly and rolling it past the keeper, from about three yards out.

We had to go through 5 minutes until we saw the next goal, Fonfara, pulled down Matras in the box, and we were handed a penalty, Smolerek, sent the ball to the bottom left corner...the goalkeeper went the right way, but just could not make contact.

Monthly review
Not much of a month, just one game, however we won that game, and thats all that matters, we moved up one place from 13th to 12th where we will hopefully stay until the next game, we will play first place Lech in 66 days who haven't lost a game in over 16 matches.

Don't get so happy, they're last place :P
haha;) im almost last...;)
Almost last is better then last. You can still change :)
Well, things have gone well so far...hopefully I can break onto the top 7 as I think we are quite capable of it.
