hey guys, welcome to my new story where I will be trying to take Poland from an incredible 75th place in the world rankings to 1st. I know I said at the end of my last story, I wouldn't write another for a couple of months but..

1. that was a bit exaggerative, its more like a few weeks.

2. I seem to have scraped out some time for me to do one of the things i love most, playing FM..

3. And lastly, I do miss writing a lot, and its only been about 4-5 days:P

My plans for Poland

My plans for Poland are simple, firstly I would like to bring up a lot of good, young talent to this polish side and sustain ourselves as a faviroute to qualify for all Competitions until eventually becoming faviroutes for those competitions and so on.

Secondly, I want to take Poland into 1st spot in the world rankings.

Lastly, I want to become one of the greatest managers of all time, up there with the likes of sir alex and Paisley.
This, almost definitly will not happen, but who knows.

Note: As i said in my last story i dont have a lot of time on my hands at the moment, although I will have a bit of time in the next few days. if you notice i haven't updated in a while, I am most likely just busy, this story will not end, (Unless it corrupts) and i will be moving around to different clubs and countries, depending on how well i do at Poland.
Should be a good story, are you starting at both a club and Poland or just Poland and finding a club to manage alongside?
Just Poland for now, i will probably look for a club maybe...2 seasons in lets say? but it depends what clubs are available:]
Can't wait to see Poland 2nd in the World Rankings, right below England!

Hardy grasps Poland job

Tonight, the Polish FA have revealed that Liverpool and England legend Aaron Hardy will takeover as manager of the Poland national team. This is Hardy's first venture into management, and a once great player will be hoping to take his career to the next step and better the likes of Mourinho and Guardiola, will he reach these heights, or will he take things further? Here is what Hardy had to say!

Im really happy that the Polish FA have shown this much faith in me, it's fantastic! I always wanted to become a manager after a professional footballer, and I was hoping for a job offer at a team like Accrington...no offence to them by the way! To be here now and to be able to call myself the manager of The Poland national team is just music to my ears, I will bring glory to the Polish whatever it takes! I can't wait to throw those lads onto the the pitch for the first time against Romania next week.

NOTE:

You may have noticed that I put 'Aaron Hardy, international legend' that is because I'll be using him (me) as a fictional character to save myself a lot of time!
Who's Aaron Hardy? I've never heard of him :P

Good luck with Poland! :D

Hardy: "Romania game is huge!

New Poland mangager Aaron Hardy has stated earlier this morning that the game his team face next week against Romania will be a massive occasion, for him, the team, and the fans of Poland! Here is what he said...

"The game we face next week will be a huge occasion! It may only be a friendly but to me, it is my first match as a manager...and for Poland! How many people can say that? Of course, I want to win the next match, as it will be a huge confidence boost to my new team, and it will add a real incentive for us to drive forward and push on in the qualifiers!"
Best of luck Mr Hardy! :D

International report

Romania vs Poland

As you can see, we got off to a great start in my first game with Poland, whooping Romania 5-2! we weren't exactly the best side between the two, especially in the defensive areas however we did make our chances count upfront, showing just how good we are with the likes of Lewandowski, Obraniak and blaszczykowski!

We got off to a fine start with obraniak scoring in the 2nd minute of the game, pouncing on a defensive error and placing the ball into the top right.
Closely followed by a bizzare throw in, that went straight over everyones heads including the keeper and dipping into the bottom corner...from the corner flag!!

Then in the 15th minute a defensive mistake on our behalf led to a goal which gave Romania a way back into the game, which they didn't hesitate to take in the 26th minute, scoring again to level the scores!

We then went into half time with the scores level. a change in tactics and a very harsh speech would see the lads fired up the lads for the second half.

The lads came out of the tunnel ready to go out and win, however settling for dull end to end football was what we had to watch for the next 18 minutes until the one and only Robert Lewandowski latched onto a pass from Blaszczykowski on the edge of the box, before thundering the ball right into the top left corner, where Pantilimon would never reach.

Lewandowski, made his mark again just 6 minutes later, Matuszczyk playing the killer ball for him to run onto, left him with a one on one oppertunity which he took perfectly rounding the keeper and cooly rolling the ball into the net!

The last goal of the game cam from Dortmund winger jakub Blaszczykowski, who...just liked lewandowski, ran onto a killer ball and rounded the keeper, which led to a brilliantly timed chip into the net.

It was an exciting game for everyone involved and we will look to build on this result against San marino and Ukraine next month where we'll be hoping to get ever closer to a qualification place in the World cup qualifiers. we currently lie 4th on 7 points, however England and Ukraine are both on top of the group with 16 we need to win every last one of our qualifiers to even think of progressing!
