1st Half of the Season

“Before i start off with our results in the first half of the season, I need to show our friendlies and transfers, to show you how we are going.”

“Our friendlies weren’t that good, but I didn’t care. I only cared about possession and passing, and we got that. Results will only matter in the league.”

“Free transfers were the centre of attention here, but we signed this bad boy…”

Yano

“Beast? I know. Watch him tear up the division.”

First Division Results

“I was absolutely over the moon with our form. We were predicted to be 3rd, but we ended up in around 2nd by mid-season. This was very good, as we were also only a point behind Chippa Utd.”

South African FA Cup

“Our only result until now. We progress to the First Round, which will be played in March.”

"Next update, will be the rest of the season and the cup, with little surprises." ;)
The friendly results weren't great, but some of the signings look good and you have had a good start to the season. Keep it up! :D

Jomo Cosmos: Second Half of the Season, 2013-14

“In the 2nd half of the season, it became very interesting between us and Chippa United. Also, the cup was very interesting too, which you guys will see soon enough! From the next season, I will be doing less cramped up updates. So, don’t worry! Hopefully, I can take this team to the Premier Division… or did I?”

National First Division Fixtures

“We had very poor losses and draws, but could the rest of the games, see us win the coveted First Division title?”

“Yes! We won by three points and we get the hundred grand prize! I am glad we didn’t have to go through the play-offs… anyways, I will now show our 3 best players of the season.”

Yano had 4 injuries and only played around half the games of the season… he ended up scoring 15 goals in 18 league games. Not bad for a new player in a new country, who is injury prone. Now… the Youth intake.”

Youth Intake

“A very good youth intake considering our club, hopefully they can lead us to the Champions League in the future.”

South African FA Cup

“We reached the Final of the FA Cup! Our club is in debt by 325,000 Pounds, and if we lose we earn 250k, and if we win… we earn 600k! Can we cause the biggest upset in the history of South Africa, and win the double in my first season… which means we qualify for the African Confederation Cup next season?! (It is equivalent to the Europa League, which means we can gain experience and prize money, perfect!!)”

FINAL

“The Double. Yes, the double. We have completed the double. We are out of debt. We are in the Premier Division, and we also put up a fight against Orlando Pirates to win the FA Cup, which means we qualify for the Confed Cup of Africa. The board… Mr. Jomo Sono is absolutely amazed by my management skills… can, and will I reach the top with the Cosmos? Be aware of my coming updates... as we prepare for the best of South Africa..."
Some more great results and two competition wins! Well done!

Great Start to the Season for Fayad Leaves Critics Surprised

‘A great start for Jomo Cosmos in the South African Premier League leaves them in 6th place, 7 points off the top, after the First Period (7 games). This was an unexpected start for Fayad’s Cosmos, who were expected to finish second from bottom this season. Jomo Cosmos had a fantastic friendly form too, only losing once in the process. In the league, they have also lost a game too. They lost away from home against league-leaders Bidvest Wits in a game full of goals, losing 5-3. No complaints from Fayad, the players, or the fans to be heard as praises were being sung amongst the Makhulong Stadium and what not, week in - week out.’

‘Next up for Jomo Cosmos, is a Home fixtures against Bidvest Wits in the SA Knockout Cup… will they prevail?’

Transfers

‘New players were brought in, and the star signing seems to be Ary on a free who has picked up 2 goals and 5 assists in 7 games, averaging a rating of 7.7. He has also completed 83% of his passing, working well under Hamoudi’s pass and move game.’

‘The new stadium plans for Jomo Cosmos have been boosted as Jomo Sono is planning to make Jomo Cosmos a fortress, getting ready for their continental future. Hamoudi seems to be doing very well, gaining praise from managers and players alike, can they continue this fantastic start?’
As with your old Armenia story, this has to be one of the most underrated stories on the site. Just read through the first few updates in full, absolutely great so far, you've earned yourself a new follower. Amazing win over Orlando in the cup, too :)

MATSILELE SONO FIRES COSMOS PAST BIDVEST WITS

“In a tight encounter at the Makhulong Stadium, Jomo Cosmos came out on top on a wet afternoon against league-leaders Bidvest Wits, in where Matsilele Sono scored the lone goal in the First Round of the South African KO Cup, to send Jomo Cosmos flying into the quarter final.”

“Hamoudi Fayad’s current style of play has led the Cosmos to continue their streak of winning the possession game, a new type of style here in South Africa. Fayad’s “pass and move” has been very effective - Home and Away - as the Cosmos has only lost once this season, ironically to Bidvest Wits.”

“Jomo Cosmos have been drawn against Golden Arrows away from home, while the rest of the draw sees Orlando Pirates face the Black Aces, Ajax CT entertaining Kaizer Chiefs and finally the FS Stars pay the Mamelodi Sundowns a visit.

Jomo Cosmos Twitter Reaction

“There you have it on Football365, and be back with us in a few weeks with the Quarter Final! Can Jomo Cosmos go even further?”

note: Thanks for 500 views guys!
