Michael Ballack set to invest in Chelsea

We are hearing news that after Chelsea's purchases of Brazilian Gabriel Barbosa and England's Patrick Roberts, Michael Ballack will invest his own money into the club to boost the club's transfer budget. Chelsea's billionaire owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly agreed to the idea, and will let Ballack invest up to £29M in the club.

This furthers rumours that Chelsea will bid for Argentinian duo Lucas Romero and Guido Vadala, and suggests that Chelsea may be in the hunt for a big-name player. It is thought that Phil Jones, who is on the fringes at Manchester United at the moment, could be tempted, but names such as Ballon D'Or hopeful Sergio Ramos or Thiago Silva are being thrown around.

Chelsea have been in good League form of late, but a defeat to now-League leaders Aston Villa has left Chelsea in 2nd place. Robert Lewandowski is also being tipped to join the Blues, as Samuel Eto'o will be let go off next summer.

Monthly Report: December

A great month of scoring goals in general. I bought striker Issiah Brown and Attacking midfielder Jeremie Boga up from the U18's and they certainly impressed me.

Top of the League just about, although it looks like people are gaining on us a little bit.

Monthly Report: January

An amazing month with some fantastic results, especially the win against United and the victory over rivals Millwall. There was really no stopping us this month.

Sitting very nicely on top of the League, and we are starting to build up a lead at the moment.

Champions League Draw

Due to coming 2nd in our group, Chelsea have been drawn against Real Madrid, who had 8 players in the World Team of the Year.

Chelsea: New Signings

Today we bring you Chelsea's newest signings of the January transfer window.

Robert Lewandowski

The Polish striker was approached to sign on a free for the end of the season, and as part of a clause of the transfer, Chelsea had the option to buy Lewandowski straight away, for £5M.

Lucas Romero

The Argentinian midfielder is very strong, and versatile. Hopefully, he will become a major part of the team. He was signed for £9.5M.

Ryan Ledson

The young Englishman was signed from Everton for £6M.

Rodrigo Gomez

Signed for £4.2M from Argentinos.

Mats Dæhli

Signed from Molde, the ex-United man cost £2.4M.

Patrick Roberts

Signed from Fulham, he cost £5.5M.

Guido Vadala

Signed for £3.7M

Julian Brandt

Signed on a free.
Brilliant signings there, mate. Lewandowski will be great in the Premier League, well done! Liking this story so far, it will be interesting to see how you do in the league

Thanks mate, I'm even surprising myself as well!
Love the choice of manager. Being a Chelsea fan I will certainly be following closely. Keep up the good work. Is Nathan Ake still with you or have you loaned him out?

I have loaned him out, but I would really like to develop him. Thanks :)
