Arsenal Perform Well In November

Arsenal Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he was happy with 9 points out of 15. Good results against Southampton and Everton looked good and the fact that Arsenal put FIVE past reading.

However a poor performance against Wigan was not as great, Solskjaer and Captain Thomas Vermealen come out afterwards and called the result unacceptable, however credit must go to Wigan for there resilience and determination. The Chelsea game was seriously one sided but the best team lost. Chelsea were played of the park but just could not finish.

Gladbach yet again were dispatched very easily.

Arsenal 3-1 Southampton
Bennett (3, 88), Lewandowski (16)

Wigan 1-0 Arsenal

Arsenal 3-0 Everton
Cazorla (3), Monreal (40), Bennett (78)
Highlight here was Monreal's first ever goal for Arsenal. He somehow popped up as a centre forward and smashed it into the top corner

Arsenal 5-0 Reading
Wilshere (pen 4, 29), Lewandowski (18, 88), Keane (69)

Chelsea 3-1 Arsenal
Benteke (30)

Arsenal take up 4th spot and are only really going up in the league. Lewandowski is proving not to be a one season wonder as is Elliott Bennett. Stewart Downing's lack of form means he has lost his starting slot now at Left Midfield. Spurs lead the pack.

Arsenal 4-2 Gladbach
Vermealen (25), El Shaarawy (33), Lewandowski (41), Wilshere (71)

Arsenal have already qualified as group winners in the Europa League and they are one of the favourites for the whole competition.

We will see how the next month goes!
Overall, it was a good month! Keep it up!

Arsenal Remain Unbeaten

Arsenal and there fans are very happy with the way there performing this season. Despite losing to Vitesse in the Europa League, Arsenal beat Man utd, Spurs but had three disapointing draws with Sunderland, Watford and West Brom.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/6/p7yz.jpg/

Captain Thomas Vermealen was bullish about Arsenal's European hopes and there aim for the Premier League title. 'We are absolutely flying at the moment' said Vermealen. 'We have Celtic in the Europa League, and got two very good wins against teams around us. If we can keep that form then we have a serious chance at the title.'

Manchester United 1-2 Arsenal
Lewandowski (24, 63)

What a good win this was. Lewandowski played out of his skin and got the man of the match award.

Arsenal 2-0 Tottenham
Vermealen (19, 38)

Thomas' goals for Arsenal from corners really helps them and Spurs can't buy a win off Solskjaers men.

Sunderland 1-1 Arsenal
Lewandowski (61

Arsenal 4-1 Blackburn
Wilshere (4, 5), Lewandowski (45), Bennett (57)

West Brom 1-1 Arsenal
Lewandowski (24)

Watford 2-2 Arsenal
Lewandowski (62), Vermealen (78)

Arsenal are still in the hunt as we hit the New Year. I think if they keep up there exceptional play they will be there or there abouts.

Arsenal 3-4 Vitesse
Vermealen (15), Benteke (32), Lewandowski (75)

Roma 0-2 Arsenal
Lewandowski (4), Wilshere (77)

Arsenal top the group and got a interesting draw. They play Scottish Champions Celtic. It is not the best draw for them.

Xherdan Shaqiri Joins

Last Season three came in, in the January window this season Ole Gunner Solskjaer has said there will be NO MORE deals this transfer window.

Xherdan Shaqiri has been at Bayern Munich for just one and a half season's but he is deemed not needed by the German Giant so is moving to The Emirates for a fee of 21,500,000. He is a Swiss international with 35 caps to his name and 12 goals. However Solskjaer is more happy he can play Left Back or anywhere across the middle of the park.

He also can cross amazingly well, With El shaarawy and Stewart Downing failing to impress like they did last season I expect him to come straight into the team.
Signed Shaqiri for my Manchester United team as well. Excellent starting out and amazing potential. Well done :)
AAN - Thanks mate I will try to keep it up.

Akash - Yeah I am hoping he will come good for me too :)

I appreciate everyone who reads my story

Arsenal Maintain Form And Sign A Player

Arsenal lost one match this month, but actually won in the F.A Cup for the first time in Solskjaer's reign.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/27/01t5.jpg/

Elliott Bennett continues to amaze, scoring in every match this month! His goal against West Ham was absolutely sublime1 He picked up the ball on the left and drifted all the way over to the right dodging 3 challenges, before a one-two with Benteke and he drilled the ball into the bottom left hand corner.

Arsenal play Ipswich Town in the F.A Cup 5th round and Solskjaer's men are still 4th in the Premier League but are well in touch.

One In and One Out

Lets start with the departure. Marouane Chamakh has joined Athletico Madrid for 2,300,000. Arsenal Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said there is no bad blood between him and Chamakh. Chamakh backed it up too and just said he wanted some first team football so a move to Athletico was totally what I needed.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/12/5cvv.jpg/

The player in is Iker Munian. Munian joins Arsenal for 30,500,000. 'Iker comes in as a young man who wants to prove himself. I am very happy he has joined and I cant wait to work with him.' Said Ole Gunner.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/440/zcy8.jpg/

Lets now have a look at the results.

Arsenal 4-0 West Ham United
Bennett (12), Rodriguez (23, 90), Mertesacker (29)

Q.P.R 2-1 Arsenal
Bennett (34)

Arsenal 2-0 Liverpool
Mertesacker (60), Bennett (74)

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/4/x6xi.png/

So some very good results, Q.P.R aside Arsenal fans seem very happy. A big shout out to Bennett, Rodriguez and Lewandowski who are all performing excedingly well. Arsenal might be forth but that could change very quickly.

[h3]F.A Cup Round Three

Arsenal 2-0 Chesterfield
Benteke (31), Bennett (69)

F.A Cup Round Four

Preston 0-2 Arsenal
Lewandowski (45+1), Bennett (48)

Arsenal do enough to win both matches this month and Lewandowski and Bennett have done amazing again. Ipswich is one the easier matches to play in the Fifth round.

Arsenal Keep Pace

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/46/4c51.jpg/

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be delighted with the way his team is performing. Arsenal are still in 4th in the League but the top four are slowly pulling away from everyone else. If arsenal keep up this form they will slowly try and haul in the title.

In Europe Arsenal came through a tricky tie against Scottish Champions Celtic. 'It was just making sure we were still in the game after the away match' Said Solskjaer. 'I think over the two matches we have done more than enough to win.

The F.A Cup will go to a replay in Arsenal's poorest performance of the season.

Manchester City 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal can be happy with a hard faught draw against Man City. Man City had chances but so did Arsenal with Robbie Keane hitting the post not once but twice.

Arsenal 3-0 Newcastle United
Benteke (12, 23), Wilshere (90)

Arsenal outplayed Newcastle who I think stayed in Newcastle.

Arsenal 4-1 Stoke
Benteke (37), Vermealen (39), Keane (66, 68)

Robbie Keane showed how good he still is with a exceptional performance and he definately rolled back the years.

So 5 points seperates the top 4. The Man City result was important for The Gunners. Chelsea under Benitez are flying just like Arsenal at the moment. I want to give a big mention to Wigan and to Brighton for outperforming.

F.A Cup 5th Round

Arsenal 1-1 Ipswich
Tremoulinas (90+2)

Arsenal were very poor but captain Thomas Vermealen said atleast they were still in the competition.

Uefa Europa League 1st Knockout Round

Celtic 2-2 Arsenal
Benteke (pen 59), Vermealen (66)

Arsenal 4-2 Celtic
Benteke (pen 15), Mulgrew (o.g. 18), Vermealen (72), Rodriguez (90+3)
Arsenal win 6-4 on agg.

Arsenal demolished Celtic in the second leg but Celtic also demolished Arsenal in the first leg but they were able to keep in it and that was the main thing for them.

It is now coming to the run in and Arsenal are still going on 3 fronts could this season be the season they win some silverwear?
You're doing better then last season mate! keep it up!
AAN - Yes I am and im fighting, i love my squad now, since i dropped downing this season i have improved!
Come on Jason! You CAN win the Europa League!
TK - Yes I can playing 2nd leg against trabzonspor :)

Authors Note

At the beginning of this story I did put up Arsenals funds. They are owned by a billionaire, they do have plenty of money available to spend and if people didnt like the fact i did that, then I will not say sorry, in my view it has made this story even better, as now i have to produce results. If it does bother people that much then I can just stop writing it, i dont want to but I could.

Busy Month For The Gunners

Arsenal continued there good run this month without really latching onto the top 3. They did pull away from Manchester United in 5th though. Solskjaer was very happy with the way his team played. They came through the Europa League and Dispatched Ipswich in the F.A Cup.

Solskjaer though said the defeat at the end of the month came as little surprise as his team, thin because of one or two injuries came unstuck.

Arsenal 2-0 Brighton
Lewandowski (17), Bennett (51)

Southampton 1-2 Arsenal
Benteke (pen 14, 45+1)

Norwich 2-2 Arsenal
Muniain (22), Benteke (42)

Reading 1-0 Arsenal

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/36/05ul.png/

Arsenal are still in with an outside chance of winning the Premier League. Reading took advantage of how tired Solskjaer's Arsenal team were. Spurs should qualify for the Champion's League too this season but in what place?

F.A Cup 5th Round Replay

Ipswich 0-2 Arsenal
Bennett (12, 85)

F.A Cup 6th Round

Q.P.R 0-3 Arsenal
Lewandowski (17), Bender (30), Wilshere (56)

Arsenal have progressed to the Semi-Finals. Elliott Bennett won the tie against Ipswich and it was the Jack Wilshere show for the match against Q.P.R.

Uefa Europa League 2nd Knockout Round

Arsenal 2-0 Trabzonspor
Benteke (66), Vermealen (74)

Trabzonspor 0-2 Arsenal
Muniain (64), Benteke (90)

Arsenal progress in the Europa League and got the most favourable draw against Real Sociedad.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/534/8rga.png/

The tie of the round is Newcastle against Sevilla. Galatasaray and Athletico Madrid looks a juicy contest too.
Interesting that Benteke is scoring goals for you! Good update
