Joy For Arsenal!
I am for a change talk about the two cup finals. After Arsenal had dispatched Newcastle 4-0 at home, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made his second European final in two seasons by playing again Braga. The Portugese club who finished second in the Portugese Premier League had been impresive in the Europa League too. They had topped there group with Real Sociedad behind them a team that Arsenal had already dispatched.
Braga then followed up with a good win again Spartak Moscow, before destroying OM 5-1 on agg. Brage then beat Sporting Lisbon on away goals before facing Wesley Sneijder and Galatassary. They beat them on penalties after both games ended 1-1.
So the match was close to kick off and Gary Medel got the nod for right back ahead of the impressive Japanese Right Back Gotoku Sakai. The golden strike partership of Christian Benteke and Robert Lewandowski were upfront. The contentious selection was did Solskjaer go with Wilshere for added goalscoring threat or the defensive midfielder of Sven Bender? Jack got the call so Arsenal were going for it!
The first goal went to Arsenal on the 15th minute as a great run from left back Tremoulinas produced the ball of the match right onto the rushing Robert Lewandowski's head for 1-0. Braga however were firmly in the match and there first half persistance paid off when a wonderful solo run by Marcio Mossoro finished with him drilling the ball past Tim Krul into the bottom left hand corner.
It was end to end after that when Arsenal won a free kick on 39th minute. Great work from Benteke who was alleged to be pushed in the back. from 28 yards out Elliott Bennett placed the ball and netter into the top right hand corner and Arsenal were back in front. At half time Santi Cazorla and James Rodriguez had picked up knocks so youngster Iker Muniain and Stephen El Shaarawy replaced them and on the 55th minute 3 minutes after Elliott Bennett had been subbed for Xherdan Shaqiri there was a third for Arsenal as good work by El Shaarawy, who had been a more disapointing this season crossed for Benteke to head home.

Arsenal win 6-2 on agg.

Arsenal played Wolves in the F.A Cup final and went in HOT favourites to pick up the trophy, however Solskjaer still had to make sure they won it and they did win it.
Wolves played a good game and actually went 2-0 up but Arsenal were not to be embarressed, the disapointing Stewart Downing was subsituted and James Rodriguez came on. Thomas Vermealen scored in the 46th minute, Christian Benteke and Robert Lewandowski scored on the 50th and 62nd minute respectively. Then Elliott Bennett scored a volley from about 13 yards out to destroy Wolves' fairytale.
'This is an amazing feeling to win the F.A Cup' Said Solskjaer. The players have worked hard and thoroughally deserve it.
Arsenal 4-2 Wolves
Vermealen (46), Benteke (50), Lewandowski (62), Bennett (67)
Arsenal did not get beat this month in the Premier League but had to rely on Watford beating Man City for Arsenal to stand a chance to get 3rd in the table, which became even more important as Liverpool who finished 5th, won the Champion's League by beating Real Madrid in extra time. Well Watford won 2-0 but did Arsenal beat West Brom to claim 3rd?
Arsenal 1-0 Sunderland
Wilshere (63)
Everton 2-2 Arsenal
Bender (47, 82)
Blackburn 0-0 Arsenal
Arsenal 2-0 West Brom
Vermealen (24), Rodriguez (74)
