Well done on getting into the semi's in the FA Cup, as well as the second round knockout in Europa - Sociedad should be easy enough to beat with the quality you have!

Congrats on 900+ views :)

Arsenal Out Of Title Race?

Arsenal have had a good month but unfortunatly looks like they are now out of the title race. Tottenham finally discovered how to beat Arsenal, which effectively ruled them out of the title race.

The Europa League Quarter Final went according to plan but not without a scare. Real Sociedad clawed it back to 3-2 on agg. Then Christian Benteke, who hit 6 goals in 8 games this month saved Arsenal to allow them a save passage into the last four to play Newcastle, who were deadfully out of form. They played well in the first leg at St. James' Park. Jack Wilshere played absolutely out of his skin.

Arsenal 2-0 Chelsea
Bennett (24, 49)

Arsenal did not just beat Chelsea, they destroyed them. 'This was the best we have played under Ole Gunnar.' said a delighted Thomas Vermealen.

Arsenal 3-1 Manchester United
Benteke (2), Muniain (77), Vermealen (90+3)

Arsenal follow up beating Chelsea, by playing Manchester United off the park too. Iker Muniain played some super football. Showing why Solskjaer paid so much for him.

Arsenal 3-0 Wigan
Lewandowski (59, 66), Rodriguez (73)

Arsenal defeated Wigan now too and are playing some of the best football in years.

Tottenham 1-0 Arsenal

Arsenal have finally been beaten by tottenham and unfortunatly for them it might just put them out of the title race. There form though has been nothing short of fantastic of late.

So with a game in hand over Manchester City, Arsenal have a good chance of third in the table. It is going to be a big month next month for Solskjaer and his men.

Europa League Quarter Final

Arsenal 3-0 Real Sociedad
Lewandowski (1), Vermealen (49), Benteke (53)

A good solid performance by Arsenal to basically put the game beyond doubt. Solskjaer did warn against complacancy though.

Real Sociedad 2-1 Arsenal
Benteke (87)

Sociedad provided a big scare for Arsenal in Spain as two early Sociedad goals made it tense, but Arsenal's defence held out brilliantly then Christian Benteke scored on the 87th minute to put the game beyond doubt.

Europa League Semi-Final First Leg

Newcastle United 2-2 Arsenal
Bennett (44), Wilshere (76)

Arsenal made sure they were in the driving seat as Jack Wilshere produced one of the best performances he has ever had in a Red shirt of Arsenal. He set up Elliott Bennett then scored the equaliser to make an interesting second leg at The Emirates in prospect.

Arsenal In The Final!!!

Arsenal fans around the world are celebrating today after Arsenal progressed to the F.A Cup Final to play Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers after a thrilling 3-3 draw at Wembley in which Christian Benteke scored a Hattrick including a equaliser on the 109th minute after Carlos Tevez thought he had scored the winner 4 minutes earlier.

Christian Benteke missed the very first penalty. Tevez then scored to the top right corner giving Tim Krul no chance. Thomas Vermealen then smashed his Pen home. As Jack Rodwell stepped up, Tim Krul started to put him off and he blazed over. Wilshere, Falcao, Bennett and Silva then hit there penalties home.

Zabeleta then stepped up and Tim krul guessed he would go straight down the middle and he was right. As Sven Bender stepped up, the crowd at Wembley went silent. Howard Webb made him replace the ball not once but two times, he did keep his cool and calmly sent the keeper the wrong way and sent Arsenal fans into ecstacy. They are in the Final!

Joy For Arsenal!

I am for a change talk about the two cup finals. After Arsenal had dispatched Newcastle 4-0 at home, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made his second European final in two seasons by playing again Braga. The Portugese club who finished second in the Portugese Premier League had been impresive in the Europa League too. They had topped there group with Real Sociedad behind them a team that Arsenal had already dispatched.

Braga then followed up with a good win again Spartak Moscow, before destroying OM 5-1 on agg. Brage then beat Sporting Lisbon on away goals before facing Wesley Sneijder and Galatassary. They beat them on penalties after both games ended 1-1.

So the match was close to kick off and Gary Medel got the nod for right back ahead of the impressive Japanese Right Back Gotoku Sakai. The golden strike partership of Christian Benteke and Robert Lewandowski were upfront. The contentious selection was did Solskjaer go with Wilshere for added goalscoring threat or the defensive midfielder of Sven Bender? Jack got the call so Arsenal were going for it!

The first goal went to Arsenal on the 15th minute as a great run from left back Tremoulinas produced the ball of the match right onto the rushing Robert Lewandowski's head for 1-0. Braga however were firmly in the match and there first half persistance paid off when a wonderful solo run by Marcio Mossoro finished with him drilling the ball past Tim Krul into the bottom left hand corner.

It was end to end after that when Arsenal won a free kick on 39th minute. Great work from Benteke who was alleged to be pushed in the back. from 28 yards out Elliott Bennett placed the ball and netter into the top right hand corner and Arsenal were back in front. At half time Santi Cazorla and James Rodriguez had picked up knocks so youngster Iker Muniain and Stephen El Shaarawy replaced them and on the 55th minute 3 minutes after Elliott Bennett had been subbed for Xherdan Shaqiri there was a third for Arsenal as good work by El Shaarawy, who had been a more disapointing this season crossed for Benteke to head home.

Arsenal were cruising and even after Braga got one back it was left to Wilshere and Lewandowski to finish the job off. Arsenal win 5-2 and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had won a European trophy.

Arsenal 4-0 Newcastle United
Lewandowski (1), Bennett (12), Wlshere (61, 90)
Arsenal win 6-2 on agg.

Arsenal 5-2 Braga
Lewandowski (15, 90+1), Bennett (39), Benteke (55), Wilshere (82)
Played At Juventus Stadium, Italy

Arsenal played Wolves in the F.A Cup final and went in HOT favourites to pick up the trophy, however Solskjaer still had to make sure they won it and they did win it.

Wolves played a good game and actually went 2-0 up but Arsenal were not to be embarressed, the disapointing Stewart Downing was subsituted and James Rodriguez came on. Thomas Vermealen scored in the 46th minute, Christian Benteke and Robert Lewandowski scored on the 50th and 62nd minute respectively. Then Elliott Bennett scored a volley from about 13 yards out to destroy Wolves' fairytale.

'This is an amazing feeling to win the F.A Cup' Said Solskjaer. The players have worked hard and thoroughally deserve it.

Arsenal 4-2 Wolves
Vermealen (46), Benteke (50), Lewandowski (62), Bennett (67)

Arsenal did not get beat this month in the Premier League but had to rely on Watford beating Man City for Arsenal to stand a chance to get 3rd in the table, which became even more important as Liverpool who finished 5th, won the Champion's League by beating Real Madrid in extra time. Well Watford won 2-0 but did Arsenal beat West Brom to claim 3rd?

Arsenal 1-0 Sunderland
Wilshere (63)

Everton 2-2 Arsenal
Bender (47, 82)

Blackburn 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal 2-0 West Brom
Vermealen (24), Rodriguez (74)

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/547/qf21.png/

There was wild celebrations as Rodriguez scored because Man City were 2-0 down at home to Watford. The final whistle had gone TOTTENHAM had won the Premier League and AVB was being deemed a Hero, Arsenal though had won two cups and qualified for the Champions League!

Solskjaer Signs New contract

Ole Gunner Solskjaer has more reasons to celebrate now after he signed a new contract for 110,000 a week for 4 years.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/42/ltva.jpg/

Chairman Peter Hill-Wood told reporters that he was ecstatic that Solskjaer was staying on and targetted the Champions' League and Premier League next season. However he said that if Solskjaer wants to buy one or two players he can but would have to sell a couple too. 'If a world class player becomes available that is the exception.' Said Hill-Wood.

Captain Thomas Vermealen said he cant wait to see what Ole Gunner will do next.
I predicted it, I knew you would win!
