Dodgy Month for The Reds

Unfortunately we did not pick up a single win this month but we managed to score in every match and yes we are missing Augustin Allione, who is out with a broken leg.

I had told the players we needed to win 2 of these three games to show the rest of the league we mean business. But we did not! Barnsley had the game of there life against us even after going 2-0 up very, very quickly. Jedvaj and Rodriguez scored very quickly and I thought we were onto a winner. Fair play to Barnsley though because in the second half they hit back and it must have been a inspired team talk by Ian Holloway at half time when his captain, Montserrat's Jack Coleman hit a brace from two corners. We were unlucky but hats off to Barnsley for there awesome play.

We then got totally outplayed by Manchester City. Aaron Ramsey was sublime and scored two of the best goals I will ever see, when he chipped Delac to make it 1-0 and then smashed home a unstoppable volley from 20 yards out and I new it was not going to be our day. Congia got a consolation and Davide Valli got the 3rd and decisive goal.

Then came the enthralling Watford match which saw Ante Rebic get a hattrick and yet we still drew 4-4! this is because Colin Kyle, who I have bid for also scored a hattrick. I was left to wonder what if! I told my players we played very well but maybe I need to look at a new goalkeeper because my two at the moment are playing shit!

We are down in 8th but 3 points cover 2nd to 8th so it really is all to play for November and December are going to be important.
It is also very, very tight at the bottom too.

We could not have got more unlucky here away from home. Olympiakos were 4-0 up at half time and were quite outstanding but Nightingale, Barkley and a Smith penalty made it 4-3 but in the 90th minute we had a penalty not given as Smith steaming into the box again was harshly bought down. It was not given and Olypiakos won.

We are in 3rd but I know we can beat Olympiakos at home as we could with Shakhtar too. It will be interesting in November.

Fixtures This Month

We have some tough fixtures this month but I have faith in my guys. I want 8 points from 12 in the Premier League and I also want to beat Olympiakos and draw with AC Milan I know we can do it.

Forest Player Of The Month

Damir has had a fantastic month and although Ante Rebic was close to getting it. It is Damir that holds this team together and gets us results we do not deserve. I hope he keeps up the good work.
Just read this whole storie and absolutely love it mate keep it up I will be defiantly following this from now on!!!
Unlucky Month
Hey look on the bright side, you're only 3 points behind second. Very unlucky against Olympiakos. You can still go through though, believe.
Daryl Thank I always love comments like that

TylerK Thanks, it will only get better

Jozef Yeah luckily every team bar Newcastle had a shocker haha

Gabrielle Ghedin: Play Me Or Lose Me!

Twenty One year old striker Gabrielle Ghedin has one to the English media to complain about the amount of playing time he is getting.

The former Cittadella player might have a point because Nottingham Forest's strikers are not firing really at the moment and he had this to say bout his playing time. I went into Kevin's office and asked him to explain himself and he told me that I was not ready but yet Fiorentina played me 11 times and I scored 6 goals. I also know that I am playing better than Damir, Adam and Hernan. I know there will be teams that will love to have me in there starting line up and I can not wait to see if Kevin will play me more.

We put this to Kevin Keegan and he said he would like to also have a say on this issue which as a paper we were shocked at and then we found out why.

I am shocked at this! Gabrielle knows full well that he has to wait for his chance. He came into Forest for £20,500,000 and it is an investment and as soon as he works that out the sooner he will get more playing time. I am going to try and give him some playing time but he had better apoligise first!

That was all Keegan had to say about the matter but with interest from Fiorentina and Real Madrid the question is will Ghedin stay or not only Kevin will decide that.
If he's causing you hassle, I'll just take him off your hands for free? ;)
Trop He is going nowhere haha

Keegans Notes

This was the month that I want to forget but do not want to forget! Lets start with the Arsenal match. I do not know where we were but it was not in London as I think I was the only person there. Arsenal were 2-0 up at Half Time and had scored another 2 by full time. I had a really big shouting match with the team and told them that after our good start we needed to speed up and buck our ideas up starting at Olympiakos.

We certainly did but my issue is, yes we can score but we can not keep goals out. Adam Williams got the first against Olympiakos but they then scored 3 goals in 15 minutes to go 3-1 up and I was seething. We did however claw it back to 3-3 with Correa and a Rik Smits own goal meaning we went into the dressing room at 3-3 and i challenged them to win the match. We did win the match too with sub Rodriguez getting the important goal in the 80th minute.

Bolton then did us over and I decided to change the formation for the West Brom match and it helped a lot as we ran out 5-1 winners and subsitute Gabriele Ghedin scoring a 20 minute hattrick to go with Nightingale and Rodriguez's first half goals. I was very happy and told them to play like that at AC Milan in Milan and I will be honest with you I was not expecting to win in Milan but I did not allow them to know that.

Not only did we beat Milan we destroyed them and for once kept a clean sheet! Ghedin, who was in very good form this month scored again and Wayne smith hit a stunning 25 yard goal to make it 2-0. I told the guys at half time if we win this then qualification was in our own hands against the poor Shakhtar team. Jamie finished off the scoring for a memorable 3-0 victory. I know I have a fantastic team but they are just too unreliable and against chelsea we threw away yet another 2-0 lead to lose 3-2.

Zazueta scored an own goal and Damir Gajski gave us a half time lead of 2-0. But Chelsea are a top team and we slacked off and they punished us big time.

McDonald's Premier League Table

Has there ever been a tighter Premier League Table? There are 5 points covering the bottom 7 sides in the Premier League but also 5 points covering 3rd to 10th in the League.

We are tenth but again considering we are in shit form we are still in the hunt and that is the main thing. I will be spending big on defenders in January a a few are going to depart. Ghedin however is NOT for sale at any price.

We are second but with just Shakhtar to play and Milan will be favourites to beat Olympiakos I expect to get into the 1st playoff round.

Forest Player Of The Month

Jamie Nightingale has shown amazing maturity this season and it is because of 2 season's of hard work that he is now a regular in the team and is going to pose Augustin Allione a threat to his position when he recovers from his broken leg and is a fully deserving winner of the Player Of the Month.
This story is amazing! im going to read this right from the start :) btw what age is cirjak? and to sell him for that much when he was only valued between £14m-£15m is a marvellous piece of business except for barcelona financially ;) keep up the fantastic story :D oh and can't believe liverpool been relegated twice :P
Patrick1 He was only 23 and has an exceptional scoring record in La Liga too but I wish i had hold on to him now and yeah Lambert wrecked Liverpool. I look forward to hearing about what you think from the start and thanks for the good review :)
This story as I said is amazing. So much detail in each of the posts but you make it so interesting to read its like reading a book :P are you still in charge of England or did you resign from that?

You are reading "Keegan Rolling Back The Years".
