There was a lot of scepticism over England travelling to Saudi Arabia for a friendly and then taking them to the beautiful island of Jamaica but I disagree because we need to be going to places hot in preparation for the Qatar World Cup next year. Steven Caulker is back but Jones is still out injured which pissed me off a bit because Chris, Phil and Steven are the Centre Backs I like.

Jones is STILL out injured
Wayne Smith will keep his place at right back for both games and I took the opportunity to recall Tom Ince, Jack Wilshere and keep Danny Welbeck in.
England Squad for the games against Saudi Arabia and Jamaica
I also declared my interest in the Hamburg job. Christian Gross is doing very badly so I decided to unsettle things a bit more and say that I was interested in the job.
We got to Saudi Arabia and it was a long flight and very hot, which is exactly what we needed and I told the squad the training sessions will determain who is put into action and who is not!
We have a saying that sometimes you have to win ugly! Well we were absolutely awful! we did have the better of the match though so when Al-Zealaiy scored an own goal we were happy to hold on to the victory. Jack Butland had an awesome second half and claimed the man of the match award on his third cap. Joe has also been told he is no longer automatic choice. He is first choice but not automatic.

After this match we hopped straight onto the plane to Jamaica. I gave my squad 2 days off so we would only have one days training but we were on an amazing run of form.
After the training session I decided to make a few changes. Not many but enough to put a strong side out. Hart started along with Wilfried, Nathan and Ross.
I love this squad I have but against some opposition, fuck do we make it difficult for ourselves. THIRTY ONE shots we had and only Nathan Redmond scored but it meant we were now a record TWENTY FIVE games unbeaten and looking amazing to be honest. It was a good work out for us and we are now ready for the final stretch of world cup qualification

We only need to win one and draw one to be guaranteed a spot at the World Cup in Qatar. I applied and failed to land the job at Hamburg. I guess I did not interview well enough.
I then considered the job at Fulham but decided against applying for the job. I have been watching James Ward-Prowse a lot lately and he did not get injured but Luke Shaw did.

Bartrand is about to get a small run in the English team
He is out for a little while so Ryan Bartrand will get at least two caps and I look forward to him playing in the shirt of the Three Lions. I now also have Phil Jones back from injury and have also kept faith with Wayne Smith.
Jones is back for England
Saido Berahino comes back into the squad too for the matches against Northern and Rep. Of Ireland.

Squad for the Qualifiers for Northern and Rep. Ireland
We trained really, really well this time and I genuinely thought we were onto something special, really special.
We got to Wembley on the day of the match and people said Rep. Ireland could be our bogey team. I decided that Tom was going to start this match. Ryan also did impress me enough to play this match too.
Team to start against Rep. Ireland
The game started and we flew out of the blocks. Charlie had put us 1 up in a blink of the eye with a header into the top right hand corner from Alex's cross. His move to Barcelona has gave him a whole new lease of life. After 19 minutes Will had doubled the lead with a messy goal but he was first to react to the pinball in the area.
We then dominated the whole first half and we got a third on 30 minutes and it was Captain Will again. This time it was extremely hard work from Jack The Man feeding a wonderful ball through for Hughes to smash home and it was 3-0. If Rep. needed time to get over the shock of our start then they were WRONG. as on 32 minutes Smith forced a corner after some impressive work by the youngster and then proceeded to take the corner in which Steven Caulker rose completely unchallenged to make it 4-0!
That was not the end though as 7 minutes later another scrapping defensive clearance hit the back of Wilshere and Welbeck reacted quickest on his 98th cap to score his 58th goal for his country and it was 5-0!!! Three minutes later and Austin, 31 picked the ball up half way in the England half and held it up brilliantly for Welbeck to take in his stride, he unleashed a unstoppable shot which whacked the post but Austin who is a proper poacher got his head onto the ball and it was SIX goals before half time. The Republic looked dead and buried.
We got in and even I was flabbergasted and I said right more of that please lets atleast get one more goal.
I bought Saido and Thomas on for Jack and Danny because I really wanted them to have experiance. We just kept flying forward and Saido hit the bar twice and Tom and Alex came close too, in fairness we should have been 10-0 up but we did get one more goal. Charlie smashed home a free for his second England Hat-trick and we make it 26 games undefeated easily!
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/842/g5rb.png/
So with the boy buoyed by that outstanding performance we still had the other Ireland to defeat. I had already decided that Charlie was keeping his place but I started Nixon instead of Welbeck but Welbeck was going to get his 99th cap.
Team to play Northern Ireland
I told my players that we can not lose here after winning 7-0! So the game kicked off and we seem to always scored early or late.... Now I am definately not complaining but I find it wierd and today was not exception as Alan Nixon scored his first senior England goal. He picked up the ball and turned 3 defenders before side footing the ball into the left hand corner. Now you not mind if he froze after that but 5 minutes later we were 2-0 up.
Nixon completely unmarked headed home a Will Hughes corner, I was ecstatic because you know the papers keep saying I should not pick this player or that player well fuck em! because me and My players are going to end up 27 games unbeaten!!!
There was a lull upto the 41st minute(late in first half) I think it is because some teams switch off late in half's and we don't but Alex scored a individual goal on his 91st cap. The Barca winger dribbled it 40 yards and smacked it into the roof of the net for 3-0. I told them at half time I wanted more goals and we got 1 more and it was Charlie Austin again! That is his 16th goal in 25 England appearances can that even be beaten??? I font know.
I would like to say congratulations to Joe Hart too as the 4-1 victory against Northern Ireland was his 120th cap and that Danny Welbeck's 58 goals makes him England's All time top goalscorer.
We are amost at the World Cup too and are just 1 point away from Qualifying. We only have Armenia and Andorra to play too. I cant wait.

I have got the best out of him Paddy and he has done awesome for me to be fair
keep going hope you qualify great result and debutents looking good

So on the back of two impressive wins against both Irelands came match against Andorra and Armenia. These matches should be easy matches for us, especially on the run of form we are on too. There were a few players I had decided to go and see before naming my squad though.
Jack Butland is the highest valued English Goalkeeper at 10m and I went to see him play against Man Utd. He was excellent but the news that came out of Manchester was about to change the Premiership as Manchester United and there owners were in trouble. Then they finally admitted defeat which was that they were broke and went into Administration and 9 points were deducted.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/829/6rap.png/
Man Utd have had 9 points deducted
I have told Danny, Will and Ryan they need to move, I am secretly hoping that they will move abroad with Barcelona, who also have Alex the Ox and for Will I think that he will be suited to the way they play. Welbeck will be wanted by a host of names and I hope he gets the club that is right for him. I actually now have quite a few players abroad. Kyle Walker who is not in the England squad was at PSG but now plays for Sampdoria, Thomas and Raheem are in Ukraine with Shakhtar and have just won there first League titles with the club. Alex is at Barcelona and Will and James are at FC Bayern and Fraser Forster is now at Fenerbache.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/43/rc6d.jpg/
Forster, 33 is in his second season at Fenerbache
When it came to naming my squad I decided that although it only looks like I named 2 strikers, I have not. Alan Nixon is also a striker. I have decided that Danny deserves to play and it will be his 100th cap and he has scored over 50 goals which is incredible.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/809/5uuf.jpg/
Danny is about to win his 100th cap
Charlie keeps his slot too and I have Thomas and Nathan back in the squad. Wayne Smith, who has been excellent for England since I have introduced him to the England team and I can not wait for this squad to meet up and train again. Two wins and we will go 29 games unbeaten.
Squad to play Andorra and Armenia
I decided to leave Will on the bench and give Welbeck 100 caps alongside regular Charlie Austin. Wilshere and Ward-Prowse get the midfield nod. Nathan and Alex can run riot on the wing with Luke and Wayne playing as wing backs.
Team to play Andorra at Wembley
We have a knack of starting quickly now days, i remember when we were slow starters and had to come back from a goal down but this match was the Jame Ward-Prowse show as after 19 minutes he had bagged a hat-trick. The first was a crisp left footed finish into the bottom corner, his second was a headed goal from a Redmond corner and the third was also a headed goal from a Oxlade-Chamberlain corner!
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/5/7jqg.jpg/
Ward-Prowse scored 4 goals!
on the 22nd minute The Ox had scored to make it 4-0 as he connected with a 25 yard stunner. Andorra then had there only attack of the game but they managed to score.......It was however offside. I felt a bit for them and I wouldn't have minded if it had stood but it didnt and we went up the other end through a Wilshere run to make it 5-0.
Half time I told them to keep up the pressure and we did just that as Half time sub Tom Carroll scored from a free kick on the corner of the 16 yard box. with seconds remaining James made it 7 with his 4th goal and Andorra were buried, we had made the world cup and 28 games undefeated.
I told the guys we had to make it 29 games unbeaten against Armenia at Wembley.
I put Ross in as the only change for Oxlade-Chamberlain. He was also made Captain, Armenia were worried and I was really hoping to make it 29 games unbeaten and also I wanted another big win.
Team to play Armenia
We started slowly and were punished on the 3rd minute when Haroyan smashed home a free kick and Wembley was silent. We huffed and puffed and I was in shock but on the 26th minute we carved our first opening to devastating effect. Redmond who looked impressive again whipped in a cross to the oncoming Welbeck who smashed the volley to equalize and we went in at half time drawing.
I have had a go at them in the past but this was like no other i made THREE changes. Welbeck for Nixon, Wilshere for Hughes and Ward Prowse for Carroll. It worked a treat as on the 50th minute Thomas Carroll hit another free kick in to make it 2-1. Armenia looked down and out after this. Then Mr. Consistent for me Charlie Austin scored to make it 3-1 on the 88th minute! I think we have done enough and it is now 29 GAMES UNBEATEN!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!
