Season Defining Month For The Reds

So the month after Gabriele left and it could not have gone any better. The day he left he came in in tears and wished us the best and told us to bring the McDonald's Premier League trophy home.

Our first match was against Stoke and they took a shock early lead but captain for the day Cotton drove us on and when Jamie scored for us on the 23rd minute it was all one way traffic. Nirvana has picked up his form immensely and he fed the ball to Piter to drill home the second on 31 minutes to send us in to half time 2-1 up. I told them we needed to win this to keep our gap in the table but they left it until the 76th minute to score the third when Piter scored a free kick. Sub Colin Kyle scored two in 2 minutes to give us a 5-1 victory, and a well deserved one at that.

We then slaughtered a sorry Spurs side 5-1. Nirvana set us on the way on the 18th minute, then Kyle and Diez added 3 goals before the break. Kyle scored a awesome free kick and then Diez scored two break away goals as the direct passing approach worked a treat. Kyle then added his second towards the end of the match to wrap up our second 5-1 victory in a row.

Shakhtar were then dispatched 2-0 through Colin Kyle and Piter grabbing two absolutely stunning goals. Kyle's was a wonderful free kick and Piter's goal came from a corner. It gives us the edge on a tricky return leg in Ukraine.

We then just got edged out by Chelsea. Chelsea are really coming good here, we are missing Wayne Smith in these sort of matches but when Adam Williams equalised on the 84th minute, I thought we had done enough to draw but they scored on the 90th minute to snatch a win and suddenly the Man City match was hugely important.

We absolutely destroyed Man City. I mean we were 3-0 up by half time! Diez connected to a Nightingale cross to make it 1-0 and then Nirvana set up Kyle twice in 8 minutes to score two powerful shots from just outside the area. I was full of praise for my men at half time. I withdrew Nirvana because he got tired and substitute Darmian scored the all important 4th goal to give us another victory.

McDonald's Premier League Table

We are still 9 points clear of Arsenal and 10 clear of Chelsea although they have a game in hadn so it could be 6 and 7 points respectively but there are just 9 game sto go for us.

Upcoming Fixtures

So only 4 fixtures this month, I think we have easy Premier League matches but it is the match against Shakhtar that will be the match of the month. If we can hold on there then we have got to where the media wanted us to get to.

Forest Player Of The Month

Adam Williams has been a star this month. Some will argue that is is Colin Kyle that has been the best this month but I think this guy is a unsung hero. He comes up big when needed and I am happy he is getting this award this month.

Rumours Continue

Since Hibs were bought out by oil tycoon Lee Mitchel there have been rumours over who he will give his warchest too. When I release these funds to sign top class players, I want a top class manager. I have already tried to contact Kevin Keegan but have had no luck what so ever. I will keep trying though!

Whether Kevin will want that sort of challenge I do not know but one thing for sure, he now has three offers on the table with Lyon and Benfica it will be interesting if anyone else comes in to get him.
2014-02-27 17:53#163317 NVDTahir : Caught up with this story from the start, I don't care I'm subscribing! It's brilliant mate, you're doing so well with Forest. IF your board sell Ghedin to Chelsea then I'm afraid it's just bad luck, but the clubs you've mentioned are great choices! Keep it up Keegan! ;)

Awesome thanks man :)
Everton are almost safe! Just 3 points is sufficient... ;)
Still doing great in the league, keep it up Jason!
Looking great in the league man. You almost have it.

Nottingham Forest Rise To See Off Miners

vs
A first leg win in Nottingham proved pivital for Forest as they secured a 3-0 aggregate victory over Shakhtar following their second leg clash at Donbas-Arena.

Nottingham Forest's winner came through Enrique Diez as he seized on Flavio Caviglia's mistake to score a penalty. Keeper Sinisa Kupresanin then summed up his team's performance by nearly gifting Nottingham Forest another goal on 14 minutes.

Shakhtar Donetsk's Gusev was forced off by injury in the 92nd minute.

Both teams had a number of attempts at goal, which promised so much, but the quality of finishing was poor throughout.

Champions League Draw

We have two battles of England and play Arsenal. I am happy that we have drew them because we have had there number in the last few matches. Chelsea and Man City is going to be a great match too.
It was a good draw for you, because they are very good teams left. Good luck !
510 Yeah Everton are back in the Premier League where they belong

NVD Thanks man You are close to my biggest fan of this story lol

Bayern Aye I definitely almost have it

Bebero Thanks I know I can defeat Arsenal
Nice to see the Brits dominating Europe, despite the number of English teams being halved after this round.
Similar to what P-Kiddy said, it's pretty surprising to see 4 English teams in the CL mix lol

But that 3-0 win agg win over Shakhtar was epic man good luck vs Arsenal!
Paddy & NVD Yeah been a good season for the English sides

Forest Start To Close In On The Title

We had just 3 matches in the McDonald's Premier League this month. We have played brilliantly this month and this season, it is going to be really hard to leave this group of players but I have to because of the idiotic board I have here.

We first played Liverpool and I asked Luke Shaw to talk to his players and give them the 'talk' about winning hte title and how it is in our hands. I told them the same in the dressing room and asked them to go and show Arsenal and Chelsea that they will not catch us up. Colin Kyle got us going after just 10 minutes and we went in 2-0 up after Pavel Holub, who is a legend at Forest scored an own goal. I told the guys that if we hold on it is one more step to the biggest moment in there lives and we did as Kyle got his second in injury time to give us a 3-0 victory.

We then defeated West Brom 3-1 and Kyle got 2 again and Nirvana got one. I want to single out Nirvana for some mega praise this month. He is keeping the older more experienced players out of the team and also set up both of Kyles goals.

The Southampton match was one for Piter to remember as he smashed in his 5th hattrick for Forest but this on was utterly amazing! Him and Ross sent us 2-0 up at half time and I told them all to go and make sure because Southampton are fighters. Soton scored early in the second half but they did not threat after that. Piter got his other 2 goals towards the end of the match but it was enough.

Enrique Diez was the focus for the media as his current Forest side took on his former club Arsenal.

Flamboyant midfielder Nahuel Allegrini got Nottingham Forest off to a flyer by scoring a powerful effort on the 2nd minute. Allegrini was deservedly pleased with the strike and it was easily one of the highlights of the match. Arsenal's equaliser came through Luke Wynne as he seized on tommy Cotton's mistake to score an accurate finish from inside the penalty area.

Enrique Diez then scored against his old club on the 65th minute with a deftly executed finish. he was glad to score but did not celebrate.

Arsenal captain Romain Rastoll then equalised for Arsenal after 69 minutes with a placed shot from long range.

We are in a good position for the tie now with 2 away goals and we are almost unstoppable at The Brian Clough Arena. It is not an ideal position for us because Forest are too good at home. It is not impossible but we know it is a uphill struggle said Conte.

McDonald's Premier League

We are now a massive 12 points ahead of second. We are going to have to have a catastrophic collapse now to lose the league. The top 4 looks sorted it will be just in what position. Bolton have had a fantastic season and Spurs and Liverpool will stay up. Leeds and reading will most probably go down.

Forest Player Of The Month

Brentan Daley gets it this month. He was fantastic in the Champions League and made sure we won every match this month in the Premier League.

Upcoming Fixtures

We have Arsenal in the second leg this month to claim a spot in the Champions League Semi Final. other than that we should hopefully have the Premier League done and dustied by the time we get to Arsenal, the last match next month. All of them are winnable ones.
Looking good! Keegan to go out on a high it seems ;)
It'd be very hard to lose a lead like that, so no matter what happens, i believe you have secured the title ;) Good luck nonetheless! :P

Forest Win Battle Of England

vs
Forest win 4-1 on the night and 6-3 on agg.

Nottingham Forest Followed up there firest leg draw with Arsenal by blowing them out of the water in the second leg at The Brian Clough Arena.

An error from Arsenal's Liam Smon allowed flamboyant midfielder Enrique Diez to score a placed shot against his old club which hit the inside of the post before crossing the line. An erro from Arsenal's Dion Conroy allowed wonderkid Nirvana to score a well timed finish from close range. Diez added his 2nd goal of the game with an accurate finish on the 67th minute.

Arsenal captain Romain Rastoll pulled one back for Arsenal after 69 minutes with a placed shot. An error from Arsenal's Angelo Henriquez allowed Diez to score a fine headed goal from point-blank range.

We have a fantastic chance of winning the champion's league now. I have a squad that really can win everything and it will be amazing if I can get them to a big final!

Champion's League Draw

We have drew AS Monaco in the Uefa Champion's League Semi Final as the home team in the tie so the first leg will be played at The Brian Clough Arena on Wednesday 19th April.

We will have to watch out for the creative force of Monaco's Imanol Alkorta who tops the assists charts in the Champions League this season but we have Diez who is the top scorer for us this season.

There is a possiblity of a all English final or a all French final as PSG play Chelsea too. Either way both games will be fascinating.
