As Up And Down Month As You Could Possibly Get

Well we did not lose this month which will help us towards the end of the season. But in Granada we have a fresh new challenge who will push us all the way I am sure. I told the players this month that it is all well and good winning in the league but we needed big points in the Champions League too.

When Real Sociedad led at the break 2-1 I feared for our record. Ivo Ferreira had got us back in it but I gave the boys an absolute bollocking at half time. I also introduced Mikica Bogdanovic to devastating effect.

In the 52nd minute he rifled home a left footed shot to get us back on level terms. He then got his second with a bullet header from a Nirvana cross. We were 3-2 up but Sociedad were still pressing. When Bogdonovic then got his hattrick on the 87th minute it meant he had become a super sub and more. Ferreira then polished off the performance with the 5th goal to give us a 5-2 victory.

So yet again we concede early. grrrrrrrr it is so fucking frustrating. Ferreira again though came to the rescue and we went in atleast on level terms this time. I challenged them to hit 5 past Sevillla too, who were lying 3rd at the time.

When Nightingale's cross shot went in I leaped for joy because he had played amazingly well. Ferreira then added his 2nd goal and our 3rd goal. Schenone and Coulibaly's first for the club gave us a 5-1 victory but Granada also won to keep us in second because of there goal difference.

We then played Basque side Athletic and this was a classic match up. We actually scored first through Galindo's own goal but he also then scored in the right goal to give Athletic a deserved 1-1 draw. I was not too harsh on my team because they had played exceptionally well.

This match was an amazing match up because it is not often you score a hat-trick and think you should have been on the losing side!

Richard Kostel got Mallorca going with a crisp finish into the bottom corner. Schenone then equalised on the 38th minute with a headed goal but Kostel had gave Mallorca the lead back on the 41st minute. At half time I was getting really frustrated because Granada's match had just finished and they had won 9-0 against Levante! So I sent them out there telling them a win would keep us top.

Nightingale scored a fantastic free kick to make it 2-2, and then Gonzalo made it 3-2 to us with a solo run and finish I thought we had turned a corner but then Nightingale defending a corner scored a own goal.

Gabriele Ghedin then restored the lead 4-3 with a one two with Nirvana and he finished it off but Kostal who had been awesome all match then hit his hat-trick and gave MAllorca a share of the spoils.

Liga BBVA Table

We currently lie in second place behind the ultra impressive Granada side. Barcelona have recovered from a poor start to be in 3rd place and last season's Champions Atletico are in 5th just behind Real Sociedad. Lugo, Levante and Guadalajara are in the bottom three but it is Lugo that have managed to defeat Granada.

So the first match of the two against Porto this month was in Spain and with losing the first two matches, defeat here signaled the end of the Champions League already. this was not going to happen and Ghedin hit a brace and Schenone, who I did not rate until working with him also got two and Porto were annihilated 4 goals to 1.

If you think that was impressive the match in Portugal finally found my right formation as a 4-1-2-1-2 with Morgan Thomas playing defensive midfielder yielded a 5-0! Yes I said 5-0 win. we were 4-0 up by half time as goals from Holm in the 1st and 6th minutes, Thomas and Nirvana showed Europe that Real were back and now one of the favourites to win the Champion's League again. Bogdanovic finished it off in the second half and Porto, who were top of there group now face the disaster of going out.

Champions League Group A Table

There you see we are now 2nd with Stuttgart the surprise leaders in group A. Porto's confidence will be shattered after that and there league form has dipped alarmingly since Real thrashed them.

Real Player Of The Month

It is a team effort and the whole squad get the award off me this month. Undefeated and proud of them I am!

Upcoming Fixtures

It is a big month really because with Granada out front and not looking like they could lose we need to beat Zaragoza, Valencia and Espanyol, on the other hand the Stuttgart match is looking like a group deciding match up. I would not count Porto out of it just yet though.
Good month going unbeaten mate!
Hopefully you will go unbeaten again in the next month and you can overtake Granada and go top in the league :D

Keegans Notes

That is no problem boss, I totally understand the decision to leave me out and play Silva. He is younger and more energetic, also because I am new to Spain just like you I think I need to adapt a little bit more.

Well I thought Luke took that news pretty well because I just think at the moment Johnathon Silva is in the better patch of form. I am not saying that I have bought Luke with me to sit on the bench because I would be stupid to do that. He has immense experience and has won TWO World Cups.

So onto the matches then. We had another solid, good run in La Liga by winning all three matches but how did we do it? Well an awful lot easier than last month that is for sure. Couple this with Granada slipping up not once but twice and we are in a good position in the league.

When Mikica Bogdanovic set us on our way in the first half I was expecting it to be easy because we were just looking that good! Thomas is excelling in Defensive midfield because he can get up there on a corner and score. Bogdanovic's first goal though was something special. He chested down a Nightingale cross and overhead kicked it into the top right corner. The keeper stood no chance. If that goal was everything good about Mikica the second one was laughable! It just bounced off him and into the net. I told them at half time that they could be on the verge of something really special here and to get out there and show the World why we were going to hold on to the top spot.

They scored early on but it was only a blip as minute by minute we just peppered there goal with shots. It however had to wait until the 88th minute for us to score. New signing Amadou coulibaly has worked so hard since joining us and he got his reward with a headed goal from a corner. On the whole a fantastic display.

If we were good against Zaragoza we were fantastic against Valencia. They did not have a shot on target but this match will be remembered for THAT GOAL. Ivo got us going on the 11th minute with a simple finish, but on the 21st minute came the contender for goal of the season and it was by centre back John Keegan. It all started with a corner to Valencia which was caught by Keeper Mattheus. He rolled it to Keegan who then just a simple pass but it started a sequence of 55 passes lasting 2 and a half minutes. Keegan however had continued to run and when Nirvana supplied the drilled cross Keegan, what he was doing there I have no idea hit a unstoppable volley home for 2-0.

Valencia were shell shocked and when Sub Ghedin got the 3rd goal on the 75th minute, it was game over.

We then just had a regular win against Espanyol with Coulibaly and a Holm penalty meaning it was played 3 won 3 in the League and we did very very well this month.

LIGA BBVA Table

We are now 5 points clear at the top of La Liga and with Atletico and Barcelona 5 points behind us. Granada are still in there fighting but we have definately stolen a march on the others.

Stuttgart vs Real Madrid

They totally outplayed us and deserved to win 3-1. We had a good first half and shit second half.

Real vs Dnipro

Again this time we deserved to win. We dominated from the off and goals from Holm, Bogdanovic and Ferreira scored the all important goals to send Madrid through to the Knockout matches.

Champion's League Group A Table

We survived to qualify in second place. Stuttgart played absolutely fabulously and I am proud of my lads.

Player Of The Month

The whole team again because I can not single out one person. They all played faultless and I am very, very happy.

Upcoming Fixtures

We have a big match with Granada and a easyish passage in the Cup. So should be a easy month for us.
Good job staying in first but I though first in Champions League would be easy.
Another great month in the league and good to see you top of the table :)
Bayern Yeah but we made it and that is the main thing!

Pompey Thanks man and yeah it is only going to get better

England To Host 2032 European Championship

England have won the rights to host the 2032 European Championships. The competition was last held here in 1996 and it will be interesting to see which grounds will host matches.

It is hinted that Old Trafford, City Of Manchester Stadium and The Brian Clough Arena will be among the favourites to host matches. Whether there will be any new stadiums build will be a question for the organizing committee. More on this when we get it.

Champions League Draw

So I took my seat in the crowd and waited with baited breath for Real to be drew out of the hat.

I did not have to wait very long at all because we were the first team drew out of the hat. Great atleast I did not have to wait very long. Real Madrid Said Arsene Wenger. They will play Number 11, Juventus said Fabio Capello.

So we play Juventus, could be worse and could be better. Monaco and Barcelona take on each other too. Celtic also make the knockout stages and play the impressive Stuttgart.

I think we have a fantastic chance in this although ofcourse I would have preferred the Celtic match but hey nevermind!

Madrid Undefeated Again!

Another perfect month this month. We played just two matches again this month in the League and two in the cup. I have told my players we can go unbeaten throughout the whole season from here. So just how did we do this month, lets find out.

This match was a brilliant match for Ivan Jelicic because he got a rare start and was all over the place. Granada had really started the season well and also have a 9-0 victory under there belt. Keegan got the first goal on 12 minutes and Jelicic then scored 3 minutes later to make it 2-0. It was an amazing win for us because we really did dominate throughout and they managed just one shot on goal.

We then played Malaga in the League and it was yet another win and another clean sheet. Adan Matheus celebrated getting into the World Team Of The Year by having a fantastic match.

It was again all over by half time when Timothee Lecomte scored on the 18th minute with a bullet header from a corner. Then just before half time we scored a fantastic free kick through Gabriele Ghedin and it was hit sweetly into the top corner.

LIGA BBVA Table

We have stretched the lead at the top by 7 points from Sociedad. Granada have kept pace with Sociedad, Barcelona and Atletico. The bottom 3 are still the same and will probably remain so.

Spanish Cup

We played two legs against Real Jaen and it was a regulation 10-1 aggregate win. We were fantastic over the two legs. The first leg saw Bogdonovic, Thomas, Shaw and Ferreira score within the first 26 minutes. The second leg saw Holm score two goals, Torres score a wonder goal, Nirvana and Ferreira also scored 2 goals.

Spanish Cup Draw

Murcia have the tie of the round against Barcelona and we play the team in second in La Liga in Real Sociedad.

Player Of The Month

Jamie Nightingale wins the award this month because he has been Fantastic! He has 11 assists this season already with 4 goals and I can not wait to see him this month either.

Upcoming Fixtures

We have a two legged affair with Real Sociedad this month along with 3 relatively easy matches against Cordoba, Lugo and Celta.

This could mean that we could be on the brink of running away with the title!

Real Madrid wonderkid Nirvana today scooped the European Golden Boy award. The youngster who signed for Madrid from Nottingham Forest was said to be in complete shock today.

Nirvana is a fantastic player and every time he gets the ball he just runs with it. I mean he is the ultimate sprinter in my view and the fact he can then also do skills too, to get past an opponent and cross like he does, well it is just phenomenal. He has a good shot on him and with Jamie on the other wing they are tearing up this Spanish La Liga season.

I am very happy to claim the best young player in Europe award but my aim is just to win football matches and trophies. I have had a wonderful time this season and working with players like Leleco and Bogdanovic just helps me progress as a footballer. I would also like to thank my manager Kevin Keegan for such good words and I look forward to repaying him on the pitch.

Madrid bring in Polish Defender For €77,000,000

I have just bought my only player in the transfer window in Polish Left/Right Back Waldemar Basta.

Basta 27 will earn €230,000 a week for 4 years.

Basta is truly one of world football's global superstars. Having made his Poland debut against Kuwait in March 2018, he has gone on to make 77 appearances for his country.

Waldemar Basta began his career at Zaglebie Lubin in September 2013 but failed to make a single appearance during his 5 years at the club. In January 2018 he joined French Giants PSG for €525,000 and made 6 league appearances. During this time he also spent time time on loan at Southampton and RSC Anderlecht, making a combined appearances of 44 and scoring 2 goals.

In July 2022 he joined Chelsea for €22,500,000 and made 77 appearances, scoring one goal. Basta's Blues team lifted the FA Cup in 2024. In January 2025 he joined Monaco for €37,500,000 and made 112 appearances. During this time he lifted the French Cup in 2027, the Uefa Champions League in 2028 and the Club World Championship in 2028.

I think he will settled into the squad well and will really work hard.
damn 77m is a lot for one guy but you are Real Madrid lol
bayern Yeah Bayern I hope it pays off

Madrid Stumble But Still Lead The Pack

We had a really good month really this month. I was obviously appalled by the Valladolid result (more on that later). We also had the two legged Spanish cup too against Sociedad. I challenged my players to show the country how good I new they were and to make sure we were still top by a decent amount at the end of the month.

We drew with Sociedad 1-1 away from home. The penalty scored by Oliver Holm meant a lot to us really because of that away goal.

We played them again just a week later but we actually ended up crashing out! Goals from Nightingale and Torres really was not enough thanks to Sociedad, who are riding high in the league have knocked us out. They are actually the second best team in Spain at the moment too in my personal opinion.

We then destroyed Cordoba 4-2 with a Oliver Holm Hat-trick. His first was after 34 seconds and was a incredible right footed strike, which is exactly the same to his second goal on the 15th minute, which was a carbon copy of the first goal. He completed his hat-trick on the 35th minute with a Stunning free kick and it was pretty much game over. When sub Mikica Bogdanovic got the 4th goal it did not matter that Cordoba got 2 back and was a big victory.

We then suffered a really embarrassing result when we lost 4-1 to Valladolid. But I am not going to complain about my players because Valladolid played an exceptional second half. I was shell shocked because they played like they were top of the table and undefeated.

When Lugo lost to us 3-0 we new we had got out season back on track. Goals from Nightingale, Holm and defender Lecomte got the 3 goals. Lugo are only going in one direction this season and that is down.

The last match of the month was against Celta. We had one hell of a poor first half and Celta went in 1-0 up. I had never shouted like I did at this bunch of players. I told Bogdanovic and Coulibaly to fuck off! but the harsh words worked.

On the 65th minute Amadou got the equaliser but it was not going to be enough just to draw. I told Nirvana to attack because his speed is frightening. In the 2nd minute of 1 minute add on time Nirvana spotted the keeper off his line and from 40 yards unleashed a unstoppable shot that looped over the keeper and gave us a 2-1 victory!

Liga BBVA Table

We are still top and by 6 points, because with 17 games to go we should go on to win the title. Look how bad Valencia are doing, only the fact the bottom 4 are doing awful is the reason they are not going to go down.

Madrid Player Of The Month

Nirvana, who was given the European Golden Boy Award, is surely going to go on and win the World Player Of The Year award eventually. This guy is special and will no doubt become world class at Madrid.

Upcoming Fixtures

We have a really busy month this month. The Madrid Derby and El Clasico on top of a two legged Juventus Uefa Champions League 1st knockout match up. I will be happy if we are still top at the end of the month. Matches against Villarreal, Levante and Betis should see that through.

Mixed Month For Madrid

Well done boys! we are in the driving seat with this 2-1 victory and oh my god we deserved it! Oliver and Gabriele, you both put on one of the displays of the season in my view and when we go to Turin I can see us going through!

So yes we have had a good month again and I have just got out of telling the lads that we are in the driving seat after a 2-1 victory against Juventus in the Champions League. Holm's goal was just sublime and I think we could go far in the Champions League this season.

Before that though Oliver was at it again when we defeated Villarreal 2-0 and Holm got both goals from headers too.

We then had a bore all draw with Levante. If anyone looked like scoring it definitely was not us. The big talking point though came in the next game.

El Clasico is a massive fixture in Europe and after Madrid won 5-1 in the first match Barcelona got revenge and it was a Antonio Cirjak hattrick that won it for them. We went infront too with the impressive Nirvana but they did deserve the win.

We them beat Betis 1-0 thanks to Ivo Ferreira, then destroyed Atletico but it only ended up 1-0 to us and Nirvana the man to give us the goal again!

We then came to the second leg in Europe. We were fucking awful and I told them that at the end of the match. Juventus went into half time 4-0 up. I went fucking mental and threw a shoe which hit coach Kevin Nolan on the head and knocked him out.

There will always be next season for the Champions League because we are going to get there.

Liga BBVA Table

We are 9 points clear at the top of the table and look good for our lead. OK Bacelona have lost 2 games too but only Granada have kept up with us scoring wise. The shock is that Valencia are being dragged into the relegation zone.

Madrid Player Of The Month Award

How JK (John Keegan) has not won a international cap yet, I have no idea. He has been a rock in defence this season and at just 19 year old he has a big bright future.

Upcoming Fixtures

Just the four fixtures this month but we have a good chance of 12 points and it would pretty much give us the title in my first season as boss!
