@swaino98 Cheers, mate!

Zola returns to Chelsea as Interim

After leaving Watford, and turning down the Dortmund job, Gianfranco Zola has returned to his old club that he was with as a player; that being Chelsea. After Mourinho having yet another disagreement with Abramovic, he left the club a couple of days ago.

Zola will have until the end of pre-season to impress the Chairman with not just results but his overall running of the team and of course his signings.

Zola told Sky Sports News: "Returning to a club I have a lot of history with is such an honour. When I arrived at Stamford Bridge again knowing I was Interim Manager, I felt a real feeling of joy yet also authority. I can't wait to get going and impress the Chairman as getting this job is important to me"

Head of the Fan's Association has said: "Zola was great player for us and the fact that he has returned as interim boss shows some great promise. I think he will make a very good impression and I believe that he has a high chance of getting the job. I am sad Mourinho left but to have a former player return to you're club is a great feeling!"

Zola will fly out to Mexico tonight as his first game in charge is in two days time as his side have a friendly against Chivas. The squad however traveled there three days ago.
Yay! I hope he'll win the title and stay longer at the club! But you never know with Abramovich...
@AAN Thanks, pal. That is my aim to win the league (if I stay on that is)

Chelsea snap up young FC Bayern midfielder Shaqiri

Gianfranco Zola has confirmed his first signing as Chelsea Interim Manager, that being FC Bayern's twenty-one year old attacking midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri. The deal is believed to be worth a total of 23m spread across the next forty-eight months on a five-year contract.

Zola told BBC Sport: " I believe that Xherdan [Shaqiri] is a great midfielder who will add some more depth to the wide position and that he has great potential to become a world class player in the future. Whether he goes out on loan to Bayern (or any other team) is something we are considering"

When walking out of the Chelsea Training Ground, we caught up with the new signing Xherdan Shaqiri and he told us: "I am very pleased to have finalised the deal, I am sad to leave Bayern but a move to Chelsea was a deal I couldn't turn down. I hope to achieve big things with the club and have a bright future in my career"

Shaqiri will be assigned Squad Number 27. He will travel with the squad for the next friendly match. Chelsea fans look forward to seeing what he can do.

Chelsea have made their second signing of the summer. With Torres out of form since signing from Liverpool and Ba struggling to hold down a first team place, and Lukaku out on loan, Chelsea have been demanded by fans to get a new striker. They have done that.

That striker being FC Porto's Jackson Martínez for an undisclosed fee. Sources at Sky Sports News say it is worth just over 16m. This includes add-ons over the next forty-eight months as Martínez signs a four-year deal.

The Colombian striker told us: "I have had a great year with Porto scoring 26 goals in 30 games, of course I spent a short amount of time at Porto, I would love to have stayed longer but to be given the opportunity to sign for Chelsea is a dream come true"

Zola told Sky Sports News: "I feel that Jackson [Martínez] could be a good addition to the squad, of course everyone knows his great goalscoring record from last season which itself is spectacular. Again, we don't know how good he is in the English leagues and with us struggling to register him, a loan could be on the cards"

Jackson Martínez will wear Shirt Number 21. His first game will be a friendly at Stamford Bridge against league rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Nice signings, I'm sure they'll help you a lot! Good luck.
@Cosmin Thanks. I am sure they will be useful signings.
