Chelsea Football Club have today confirmed that midfielder duo Juan Mata of Spain and Oscar of Brazil have signed brand new five year contracts.
Mata, 25 joined Chelsea from Valencia in 2011 for 22.5m. He has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until June 2018.
Oscar, 22 arrived at Chelsea at the beginning of last season from Brazilian club Internacional for just over 20m. Just like Mata, his contract will keep him at the club untl 2018.
Chelsea's new Assistant Manager Diego Bortoluzzi has told BBC Sport: "Both I and Gianfranco [Zola] beleive that these two players are a key part of Chelsea's future and we intend to keep them here. Juan [Mata] has already been performing very well this season and he deserved a new contract with us
Bortoluzzi then went on to talk about Oscar by telling us: "Oscar is a brilliant prospect and it is important to keep players like him at the club and hopefully this contract with warn suitors that are after him
The duo have already been featured in the majority of the games for Chelsea this season and Bortoluzzi has said that the duo are not for sale this January.
