Great update man with a good pre-season!
COVENTRY STUN BIRMINGHAM
Late cup dramatics as League 1 side Coventry City earn a first round win over Championship side Birmingham City with Leon Clarke scoring the winner in the last minute of extra time.
The game had a very quiet first half, with Birmingham carving the Coventry defence open but striker Lee Novak could not finish, which summed up the night for the English forward.
Novak had numerous chances to but the Blues in-front and missed every chance he had, resulting in a bad day at the office for the player.
Midfielder Wade Elliot taught Novak how to finish when he scored from short range in the 88th minute which meant the Coventry were surely out.
However Coventry equalised when Leon Clarke scored from 20 yards to push the game into extra time.
Again Lee Novak have many chances for Birmingham but just like the last 90 minutes, he could not finish, and it proved to be very costly as in the 120th minute, Leon Clarke picked up the ball in the final third, darted round two players before placing the ball past Darren Randolph which earnt his side a first round win.

We spoke to new manager Josh Slater who said this:
"I am very proud of my players! They did a great job to turn the game around and get us a vital win. Leon was excellent today getting those two goals but you have to say it was a team effort and they all should be proud of themselves."
