FULHAM STRIKE LUCKY

Fulham were very lucky to beat an inspired Coventry side by 2 goals to 1, with the main focal point being John Fleck scoring a magnificent 30 yard free-kick.
In the previous round, Coventry defeated Birmingham City 2-1 and were looking forward to facing Fulham.

Coventry scored the first goal when John Fleck scored a remarkable 30 yard free-kick which really worried Fulham fans however Darren Bent firstly equalised and then broke the hearts of every Coventry fan as he scored the winner 5 minutes from full time.

This win sees Fulham go into the third round whereas for Coventry, they can turn their attention to the league and other competitions.

BAKER OUT FOR 3 WEEKS

Coventry fans will wake up to bad news as skipper Carl Baker has been ruled out with a twisted knee.
Baker has been key to Coventry's season so far, as they recently turned around their minus ten point deficit and look forward to try and reach the play-off spots.

However, with the injury of Carl Baker, it will not be easy to win more points as Baker misses the next four league fixtures, including a huge game against Brentford at home.

Manager Josh Slater wishes Carl Baker the best with his recovery and looks at Callum Wilson to fill in for Baker at the right attacking midfield spot.
Bad news, mate, but I know you're capable to get better and to replace Carl Baker with succes.

SEPTEMBER REPORT - MARCHING FROM THE BOTTOM

Going into this month, we had turned around our 10 point deficit and now look onwards to escape from the relegation zone, however it will be no easy task, with teams such as Brentford and high flying Colchester we will have to play very well to earn something out of those games.

A great way to start the month and to start this years Johnstone's Paint Trophy. We were totally dominant through-out the game, and Callum Wilson impressed me with two goals to secured victory and a place in the next round, overall, a great performance which will help our morale and form.

What a result from this match! Colchester are flying high in 2nd place and we thumped them at home! It was a great performance by the team with our midfield controlling the game and our defence limiting the amount of shots from Colchester!

A bore draw, nothing of notice in this game at all, we were expected to win but both teams played poorly and that's two big points dropped for us.

A solid away victory for us with Leon Clarke adding to his tally this season, he's been in excellent form and is proving how prolific he is, also Leon Lobjoit scored his first goal of the season which secured the win for us.

I couldn't believe this game, we actually won! A great performance by us, especially the defence, limiting the amount of opportunities for Brentford and Leon Clarke nicking all the 3 points for us against the run of play, magnificent!

PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Leon Clarke

He has scored some very important goals this month and inspires the whole team, thoroughly deserved.

(I didn't screenshot the League table but we were in 19th place!)
Great results, mate, you're doing it well! :)
Nice results!,keep this up and you'll be near playoffs in no time
Some pretty good results for you there. It is going to be important for Clarke to stay fit and in form.
@Cosmin - Yep, we've been playing excellent currently!
@captainbrickarms - Yeah, hopefully we'll keep up the good form and push for the play-offs.
@Jamesg237 - Yep, he's basically pulling the team up himself, just hope that if he does get injured, another player can fill in well for him.
A good month with good results! Keep it up!

COVENTRY ANNOUNCE TOTTENHAM LINK

Coventry City have announced that they have made a link with Tottenham which will allow Coventry to get Tottenham players on loan without paying anything for their wages.

Manager Josh Slater has told us about this link:
"I am very happy to have set up this link with Tottenham, as its good to have the ability to loan players without paying for their wages."

Tottenham manager Andre Villas Boas also shared his view on the link:
"It is very good to be able to send out players on loan and see them progress well with Josh Slater's good management skills."
Amazing link mate, I hope it will help you a lot!

OCTOBER REPORT - PUSHING FOR THE PLAY OFFS

We've been playing some amazing football currently, and hopefully this month we can extend our good form, however we have to play Sheffield United and Wolves this month, two favourites for promotion, should be tough!

Solid away win against a rather poor Stevenage side. Leon Clarke again proving just how good he is, getting us two great goals and our captain Carl Baker securing the win for us with an outstanding 25 yard screamer, great win!

Very lucky win, it took us until penalties as our finishing was very poor, however a win is a win and it sees us into the quarter finals of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Very proud of the team, to beat Sheffield United by THREE GOALS is outstanding, we played great and proved to the league that we are here to challenge for promotion, Conor Thomas was our best player, scoring a goal and doing very good defensive work in midfield, very pleased!

Another HUGE result! Beating Wolves at their own ground! Callum Wilson getting the only goal but how important will that be come the end of the season! Magnificent!

A great home win! Callum Wilson scoring more goals as well as new loan signing Aaron Martin! Great win!

Very disappointing, we were on such a good run and we messed it up just before the end of the month... We must improve in our next few games!
