Unlucky with the injury mate; hopefully you can still stay competitive! good luck

November 2013

Unbeaten in October, our side headed into a tricky November high on confidence, with, again just three games being played, again all in the league.

Everton have always been a side who have stepped up in smaller games, and they did so again here, as they sealed a 2-1 victory over us. A late goal from Adrian Mariappa seemed threatening to their position but we just couldn't kick on. This was the game where Itumeleng Khune unfortunately picked up that crushing injury blow. You voted for Mariappa as your Crystal Palace Player of the Match.

There are no words to describe the satisfaction of the fans and team following the victory over Chelsea. Yes, there were two penalties, and Chelsea were not at full strength, but we still managed to pull off a very impressive victory, which we deserve a lot of credit for. This was possibly one of the greatest performances we have given so far this season. You voted for Adlène Guedioura as your Crystal Palace Player of the Match.

We should have been on a high following the simply fantastic win over Chelsea, but we fought in vain against a strong Manchester United side. Robin van Persie bagged a brace to finish us off but we had given a fairly acceptable performance, and I think, had our strikers been fed the ball more, we could have got a result. However, it didn't happen, and we lost. Răzvan Raț was voted by you as Crystal Palace Player of the Match.
A very good match with Chelsea. Too bad the game against Everton, I think you could more.Although it was really dominated them.

Khune to make Boxing Day Return

Crystal Palace's South African goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune, has been cleared by medical experts to feature in The Eagles Boxing Day visit to West Bromwich Albion. With Palace slipping away in the league, it is thought that stand-in goalkeeper, Wayne Hennessey will be dropped to accommodate Khune, who had been a key figure for Ince's side up until his injury. Palace fans will be hoping that Khune will regain his fine form to shoot them back up the table, but with some tough games still to play, it won't be easy.

Khune had broken his collarbone in Palace's loss to Everton back at the start of November, and was forced to miss games against Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. With the team steadily going downhill, they will be hoping that Khune's recovery will spur them on to Premier League survival.
Great win against Chelsea mate and another great update!

December 2013

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has announced the loan signing of Arsenal's French midfielder Abou Diaby for the rest of the season. Paul Ince's side were reported to have been looking for a central midfielder for a large amount of time, and following two victories in successive games for Palace, they chose to bring in Diaby. Parish told BBC Sport that he had to accept a request from Ince to increase the transfer budget to free up some budget for the deal, but he is happy to do so for such a high profile player.

Diaby, capped 16 times by France, has seen his Arsenal career put on hold due to several injuries, and signings from Arsène Wenger have pushed the Frenchman out of the squad. Diaby told reporters that he is happy to go out on loan to get some playing time and with Crystal Palace exceeding pre-season expectations of them, he will be happy to be joining a club doing as well as The Eagles are.

Recent reports have also linked Palace with Bordeaux's Cameroonian midfielder Landry N'Guemo, with the ex-Nancy player having just six months remaining on his contract with the Ligue 1 club.
Good signing mate!
Hopefully he won't get injured and will boss the midfield for you :D

January 2014

Some tough results to take, and I must say, a beautiful style of update! Good luck, and what position are you in the table?
