Unbeaten in October, our side headed into a tricky November high on confidence, with, again just three games being played, again all in the league.
Everton have always been a side who have stepped up in smaller games, and they did so again here, as they sealed a 2-1 victory over us. A late goal from Adrian Mariappa seemed threatening to their position but we just couldn't kick on. This was the game where Itumeleng Khune unfortunately picked up that crushing injury blow. There are no words to describe the satisfaction of the fans and team following the victory over Chelsea. Yes, there were two penalties, and Chelsea were not at full strength, but we still managed to pull off a very impressive victory, which we deserve a lot of credit for. We should have been on a high following the simply fantastic win over Chelsea, but we fought in vain against a strong Manchester United side. Robin van Persie bagged a brace to finish us off but we had given a fairly acceptable performance, and I think, had our strikers been fed the ball more, we could have got a result. However, it didn't happen, and we lost. Răzvan Raț was voted by you as Crystal Palace Player of the Match.
