"Entered Unique ID is incorrect" (after donating)

Entered Unique ID is incorrect. You can find your Unique ID in the Donate section of Help and Support scout menu.

Hello, I have just donated 5 dollars, paid through PayPal, and was asked to fill my ID. I filled Manos (my username) which is wrong so it showed this message:

Entered Unique ID is incorrect. You can find your Unique ID in the Donate section of Help and Support scout menu.

Sorry but your site has no "Help and Support" menu. What exactly is happening and which is my Unique ID? I have no idea what's going on and I want to use the editor asap.

The key phrase in that sentence is scout menu. Scout menu refers to the menu inside the Genie Scout program, not this site.

You can find instructions how to find your Unique ID in the following pages:

We actually do have a help section, and you can find help for site matters within the Site Assistant area. You can go there using main navigation: "Help Desk" > "Site Assistant".

I also recommend reading the "Genie" section of our FM Scout FAQ page.

The "Where to find your Unique ID" information was right on the donation page where you selected the amount of money to donate. So reading that page carefully would have saved us from the hassle.

However, since you were confused it means we have to do a better job of removing doubt. We'll look into tweaking the donation page on this site to make it clearer where exactly you can find your Unique ID. I've also alerted Eugene to adjust the error message shown when the entered Unique ID is wrong, so it will be clear that the "Help & Support" option is inside the program.

By the way, Genie Scout is not an editor by any means. It's just a scout tool :)

Hi guys, I'm new to this site and I've been having a similar problem. I cannot for the life of me find this circular symbol in the top left that directs me to the Unique ID part. Below is the page I'm on, help?

Open GS14
Click on the round button with the letters "GS" in it at the top left corner of the screen.
A menu will appear below the symbol. Move cursor and hover over "Help and Support"
A second menu will appear to the right of the previous menu.
Click on the "Donate" (icon is money in an envelope).
A pop up box will appear in the middle of the screen.
Your Unique ID is in a box at the bottom right of the pop up.

You should see it as it states "Unique ID: XX-XXXX-XXXX"
