R- “Well Rui, thankyou for coming down today to take part in this interview, now first things first, have you figured out any targets to set yourself for the Gibraltan national team?”
C- “Yeah, actually, since day one I’ve been doing some thinking and to be honest, I believe we can actually qualify for the 2016 European Championships in France. I know we may not have the best squad around but I’m confident that we can qualify. If the lads pull together, work as a team and then we could start to gain points and definitely qualify from our group, regardless of who our opponents are.”
R- “Don’t you think that’s a bit ambitious?”
C- “No, because it’s true, if we work hard then we can definitely qualify for the finals, I don’t see why not.”
R- Ok then, do you have any ambitions to go into club management?”
C- “Yeah, club management is something I would love to do, I have already applied for a few jobs but got turned down, so I’m keeping my options open.
R- “Thankyou Rui for speaking to us, that will be all thanks, it’s been a pleasure to have you here.”
C- “Thankyou for having me here for the interview, I’ll remember this day for a long time.”
